  1. Fair do's matey. The wheels do look cool, very drifty style!
  2. Happy Birthday Matey [emoji106]
  3. I would be willing to put money on the fact that spacing the aft edge of the bonnet up like that will increase the temperatures under there. I assume you have done it in an attempt to keep things cooler?
  4. It's definitely worth it in my opinion. Many classic policies with decent agreed valuations are still cheaper than your average insurance company so it's a no brainer for me. I've never expected to get a return on the amount invested in mine, but a market value payout for it (and I assume for most others) would be a big kick in the ...! I would recommend getting a quote from Footman James as the price for mine was very competitive and the policy details are excellent.
  5. I agree, those 20mm spacers on the front and go for some 10mm spacers on the rear. That will be a vast improvement. Another vote from me to lose the white lettering too! Having said that, spacers that size may be too much, maybe 15mm front and 5mm rear. Do you know what the width and offset of your wheels are?
  6. After all the reviews about how well they fit, people were just making do? I wouldn't seal them in until you're happy Lee, I don't think you're being too fussy, imperfections in the finer details like that will niggle away at you!
  7. It'll look good either way I think. As it is now gives it a UK spec look (which isn't a bad thing), a full tint adds continuity to the colour of the design, win win!
  8. Nice, are you going to do the same with the fogs to match?
  9. Doh, sorry dude. Mr Feeney can still get these if it helps!
  10. Sorry guys, I can't make this one :(
  11. Are you looking for a mono amp to power the sub alone Howard?
  12. We should've listened to Pete from the start. And my source suggesting they were the same is poor! Really looking forward to seeing this...
  13. On reflection and looking at that, absolutely not!
  14. Wowsers, the arch clearance on your rears is less than mine even when your car is jacked and up at full travel!
  15. The centre bar ("hook") is the same part number for 2+2 and 2+0.
  16. It looks amazing. Although the ribs on the bonnet look a little busy, have you considered refitting a new oem Fire blanket/insulator?
  17. Thanks matey. Yes it's a TwinZ type 1, I bought a couple during its original release preorder from Twinchip. Superb quality with a perfect fit out of the box.
  18. Loving the monotone design colour scheme in the engine bay. The finish on that plenum looks lovely, I take it you smoothed all the casting imperfections before powder coating? [emoji106]
  19. About time with that spoiler dude [emoji106] good job, look forward to seeing it.
  20. I'm after a pair of UK spec targa blinds/shades in good condition please. Regards, Joel.
  21. I feel your pain Mondo, I've bought so much blue glass for this car from so many different sources in an attempt to find the best condition glass and create the same affect, that my garage is like a 300zx glass shop! I've spent more than I'd care to admit on sourcing it and in all honesty I gave up trying to find "mint" glass, settling for what I have. I understand that, to most, it is a relatively small detail on the grand scheme of things and I do agree with what has been said, that it should be low priority if you have other areas requiring attention. However, I'm glad I continued to plug away as it does feel much nicer inside; it almost feels as though I've repainted a room with years worth of fag stained paint, with a nice fresh coat of brilliant white (and a subtle blue feature wall!). With the fact that you're after SWB glass, your question may differ slightly from "is it worth it?", which I was continually nagging myself about, to "is it possible?". I'm not convinced importing used glass is a great idea, but if it's your only option, if a seller is willing to ship and the glass you're being sold is in very good condition then it maybe worth a punt at the right price.
  22. My word those wheels are gorgeous. Where did you find them old girls hiding? Please let me know first if you ever want to sell them.
  23. Your Z makes that focus look a bit pathetic!
