Make my zed look better
Indeed. With the attention to detail you're applying to the car, the lettering certainly detracts from the finished product. Either way, as Mondo says, it's great to see a few little jobs here and there making such a big difference, I'm sure many people will be inspired to follow suit.

Some troughts after my attempts to be come a Z trader
Great thread. It's interesting to see a different perspective of Z32 values from a trader. Some sound advice from all the replies reading though. One thing that is perfectly clear is how much everybody here shares a passion for the Z [emoji106] #PassionZ32

Headlights not sitting flush
Yes. I notice most of the Z32's I look at suffer from a slight misalignment in this area. Like Terry, I went major OCD on the panel alignments; for the headlights, my drivers one was ever so slightly low on the inner side so I used a big diameter shim washer to space up that corner, now sits spot on.

Can I start again please...advice sought please
Once upon a time the JDM models were generally rust free, but with many of them spending 10+ years in rough UK winters, paired with targa drains damaged by jacking, it seems you can never be sure these days. The best advice i can give to a buyer is to ask the seller to remove the rear quarter interior trim panel to have a good look down into the rear sill gallery area.

first part i got my my in 9 months carbing rear strut brace
They're a great bit of kit, unbelievably light. If you follow Andrew's cutout instructions accurately, it should blend nicely into the interior. Thanks again to Andrew for taking the time to assess and measure the dimensions required [emoji106]

"You picked a fine time to leave me, Loose Wheel!" - Mondo's new Zed.
Whilst I'm not a fan of red interiors, what you've done there looks remarkable, and top workmanship too. That seamlessly blends in as a high end OEM spec trim [emoji106]

On the positive side Gary, at least the bad news is discovering a defect in good time to rectify without causing further damage.

If you sent pictures of that to an insurance company for an agreed valuation, they would write it off! :p
