Convoy to "Simply Japanese" - Beaulieu from SE
Fleet would be better for me also, do you think would we be able to amend the itinerary to meet there Andrew? It's just short of 60miles to Beaulieu from Fleet but I'm happy to meet at a similar time to give us some time for traffic etc. otherwise 06:45 at fleet for a 07 :00 departure?

Simply Japanese.
I've managed to pull some strings to get the Sunday night off work. I am still working Saturday night but will be able to finish my 8pm-8am shift early and join the South East convoy from the M25 [emoji106] I may be a tad tired, but I really don't want to miss this event, let's hope the weather is as good as last year. I will be taking the Z to work on Saturday night ready for an early departure on Sunday morning, straight down the M11/M25, therefore I apologise in advance that Oscar will unfortunately not be in attendance this year!

Anyone bought one of these? Any good?
The Nissan shagpile and series 2 velour pair up nicely [emoji106] Not such good results with leather or tweed though in my opinion, they benefit from a darker shade of mat.

HIDs - the downside!
I'm pretty sure the OEM bulbs were 4300k, 35w.

Help! Anyone in Kent with a diagnostics reader?
Assuming the lead plugs into the diagnostic socket ok, all you need is a serial to USB adapter. Most modern laptops don't have a serial port anymore. Search eBay, there are lots available from £2 upwards.

Help! Anyone in Kent with a diagnostics reader?
Some great advice from Gio there. If it was me, I wouldn't want to keep resetting it, I would want to find exactly what was causing it and fix it. It could end up costing you a lot more in the future. Take it easy driving it until you get to the bottom of what is at fault.

ECU replacement chip question
I was going to say, I wouldn't have thought trial and error would be an option when it comes to this!

Why bother with UK clocks?
You found a set of replacement clocks with the exact same mileage of your zed? You should've put a lotto ticket on that day! I had to clock mine when I did the conversion but have a detailed photo diary of the job being done, displaying the removed cluster in KM and the installed cluster in Miles, clocked to within a few hundred yards!

Help! Anyone in Kent with a diagnostics reader?
Hopefully a local will be along shortly to assist with you ECU diagnostic. A fuel smell can be caused over time by the jubilee clips under the bonnet working their way slightly loose, allowing fuel vapour to pass. Go round with a screwdriver and check tighten all of these. The picture below gives an idea of where all the clips are but follow along the fuel lines tightening them all. Another common fuel leak point is the small hose that links the fuel rail under the plenum. You may be able to see this by removing the throttle cable cover trim piece and having a good look around!

Make my zed look better
- Make my zed look better
Nice try buster, but you can't pull the wool over our eyes that easily! Your UK spec car as standard would've had "Nissan" on the left and "Twin Turbo" on the right [emoji13] - Make my zed look better
