  1. It has been said before but the "Z" brand has always generally been associated with affordable sporty motoring. The 350 and the 370 fill the same market as the 240 did. Arguably, the Z32 was the odd one of the bunch, we have the defectors of the generation as the (relatively more) expensive fire breathing Z.
  2. To be fair, a decent powdercoat will set you back at least £80 per wheel. Even a cheap job would be around £50 per wheel and that's £200 off a new set of wheels, I wouldn't bother either if I was Lee. Do you think you will change the wheels at some point Lee, what have you got in mind if so?
  3. Oh my, it looks amazing Lee [emoji106] this car is going to break hearts!
  4. Buy JimmyTT's 17" track wheels with R888s fitted [emoji106] http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=182395
  5. Welcome to the club [emoji106]
  6. [emoji1][emoji106] You definitely need to change your username now; Reverend Z.
  7. It is true. Reversing lights are not part of an mot test.
  8. A friend of my wife works in the ATC tower at an airport near me where this jet was based. He spoke to the pilot that morning and was waiting for it to return [emoji17]
  9. I had the same thing, typically it only cracked my passenger scuttle panel (the one that always breaks and can seldom be bought used!) but also slightly bent up the corners of the bonnet. How it didn't crack the windscreen I don't know! This happened a few years ago and I fitted a new bonnet when I had it painted and binned the old one. A bungee cord is a bit primitive there Lee with all that fancy bling you have going on; maybe you should invest in one the them bonnet stay gas strut kits? [emoji6]
  10. Sell them mats to Mondo, they will match his red interior! [emoji13]
  11. You screw them to the stereo, then they mount into the dash. The left one is the right bracket and vice versa, the lugs in the middle of the pic sit at the bottom and the top section as shown in the pic will point into the hole towards the bulkhead (the part pointing upwards)! Once you get it orientated like that, it should then become clear how they mount. You will need to select the correct holes depending on how you want the stereo to sit. Or as I did, make new holes to make it fit! I agree, all of these aftermarket double centre consoles aren't particularly good quality, however I believe to make a proper moulded plastic piece of OEM quality, would probably price itself out of the market.
  12. I purchased these to repair my old harness, but ended up replacing the entire harness so they're no longer required. The injector and coilpack connectors are brand new and unused, however the coolant temp sender connector and PTU sub-harness were fitted new a few years ago but have covered very little mileage. Injector connectors with tails (OEM), £20 delivered: SOLD Wiring Specialities coilpack connectors with tails, £40 delivered: USED Coolant temp sender connector with tails, £10 delivered: SOLD USED S2 PTU sub-harness, £10 delivered: SOLD
  13. Your battle now will be to find a company that either has a 300zx pattern to fit, or will custom fit one for you. The bodyguarduk don't list the 300zx and the clearguardforcars only have the light cluster covers.
  14. For 6 injectors including new o-rings, a certificate and return postage.
  15. I feel your pain James, very frustrating! If you discover a magical fix that doesn't ruin the finish, I'd be interested. Just don't fit one of them awful bumper bras please!
  16. I don't mean necessarily to see if you've been shafted, chances are they'll be grand, but as they're used injectors and have not been used for sometime, it makes good sense to ensure they're performing well. A flow test will cost around £30 and if they need cleaning, you'll be looking at paying around £90 total, a small price to pay for piece of mind of such a critical component.
  17. Caliper porn! Do yourself a favour with the injectors Richie, get the flow tested and (if required) ultrasonic cleaned.
  18. I agree, let him have it on principle.
  19. As titled, 6x new and unused NGK BCR8ES plugs, £10 delivered.
  20. Happy Birthday Matey [emoji106][emoji482][emoji512][emoji320][emoji322]
  21. A big gaggle of us will turn up! It's only up the road from me (relatively).
