  1. That belongs to Simon (funkysi) [emoji106]
  2. Ah yes, sorry I forgot to mention the washable acrylic paint to keep the kids amused whilst you're graunching. Ensure that they're suitably dressed, that the workspace they're using is suitably protected and that they're fully briefed of the consequences of handprints on the walls. Also, I assume Brian's post was just an illustrative example, you'd be better off getting them a selection of colours, that way they can experiment and learn at the same time.
  3. Bigger, tighter, grippier pair!
  4. Hehe, I added a black and a red one to my recent Z1 order in preparation for when Mondo retrims my OEM wheel, or I find a mint early wheel. I couldn't decide what colour I wanted though!
  5. Looks good Simon. I'm still unsure about the centre pad but I think a GZA steering wheel emblem would further improve the look [emoji106]
  6. It's a tsunami washer jet upgrade pack.
  7. Where are you having the mapping done Adam?
  8. I'd say 25 Z32's is a great turnout, I've been to JAE at times when there were less Z's in attendance than a local meet.
  9. Interesting statistics [emoji106]
  10. That plan does have its downfalls! New OEM bushings can not be purchased individually and can only be purchased with the entire assembly of the control arm/component of which the bush is installed. Most do seem to be still available but would cost a fortune![emoji383][emoji389][emoji388] NISMO bushings have been discontinued for some time now and stock levels are depleting rapidly. Most U.S. companies are NLA but places like RHDJapan do still have stock. Price up the cost of importing all of those bushes and include the cost of pressing out/in and you could quite easily be looking at a 4 figure bill. Ideally, you would only replace the key bushes, but knowing the other will soon become impossible to obtain, it may be a good move to get a ship set and sit on them! For reference, this pdf shows you a list of all the part numbers of the bushes you need: http://www.nismo.co.jp/en/products/competition/lb/pdf/z32.pdf
  11. Embarrassingly, a full front end repaint! Front bumper, wings, bonnet and wing mirror shells; don't ask! [emoji1]
  12. Ditch anything that has solid joints and revert back to OEM or NISMO bushings. Polyurethane bushings can also create a crashy ride so be wary of those too, especially on the back end.
  13. Took mine back to A&E; again! It's spent more time in surgery over the last few weeks/months than it has in my garage! [emoji34]
  14. Also, it may be useful for some to know that I think the catalyst or route cause of my coolant hose splitting/leaking was possibly my OEM radiator cap. I bought it new about 7 or 8 years ago but I think the relief pressure was no longer in spec causing a higher pressure. My coolant hoses, when up to operating temperature, were rock hard in comparison to Andrew G's Z with an OEM rad cap and also harder than Simon's Z with a NISMO rad cap rated to 1.6 bar. I replaced the cap today for new OEM and now have a similarly supple hose to Andrew's.
  15. After my coolant hose let me down nearly a 1000 miles from home, I ordered a Z1 black hard pipe kit with black couplers and an OEM top rad hose. I fitted these today along with a brand new OEM viscous coupling and fan blade. Several coolant flushes to get all the tap water out that I had to use to get me home from France! Back to fighting fit, I also cleaned off a load of dead flies from some high speed motorway driving ready to take it back to the paint shop tomorrow for a full front end repaint [emoji15] again! [emoji34][emoji17]
  16. That looks like an awesome route [emoji106]
  17. Find yourself a jet wash nearby to spruce them up a bit [emoji106]
  18. Absolutely stinning, very nice [emoji106] A perfect creation matey.
  19. Wow, that's a pretty good return. Mine was slightly worse but Simon must have been doing 27/28 maybe higher? 26.2miles is also the exact distance of an official marathon Andrew, now you can get yourself a tattoo:
  20. Here's a little collage of the trip:
  21. Hello and welcome. It was very nice to meet you after buying your lovely new car [emoji106]
