  1. Hehe yeah, cruising at relatively high speed along the autoroutes makes for rather thirsty driving! We talley wanted to incorporate a visit to Monaco but we just didn't have the time, another day and we could've possibly squeezed it in [emoji17] The route we took seems to look like a penis! The route north of Lemans and Auxerre was only Andrew and I on the first and last day, Simon came from the west, crossing on the ferry. Like a fool, I managed to curb both my mint rear wheels on the train (Chunnel crossing), oops! Here's a little time lapse video of a rather busy autoroute as a wave of German cars were heading home from their holibobs: And just some cruising drive-by action, such tasty cars to have the pleasure of travelling long distances with [emoji106]
  2. Unfortunately, this became a familiar sight for all the wrong reasons during the trip as my lower of the 2 upper radiator hoses decided to split open after 8 years reliable service! Hacking nearly 2" of pipe off to get a decent seal and forcing the pipe up and over was the final temp repair, which saw it lap up another 1000+ miles, it now sits in my garage "awaiting spares"!: It's typical that it drives faultless for so many years and other high mileage trips and it decides to defect in the furthest southern point of our trip! Ironically, I replaced this radiator hose with a silicon coupler and hard pipe kit a few years ago but I ended up with blue couplers and that top coupler was an eyesore. So it couldn't be seen, I cut off the top section of the long OEM hose so it looked stock, this weak spot was waiting to pounce, Doh!
  3. I have a few photos here if anyone is interested [emoji106] http://s153.photobucket.com/user/Joely-P/library/Cars/Le%20Road%20Trip Here's a few more captured on my phone for those that aren't utterly bored of seeing the same 3 cars by now!:
  4. Ok here goes, this might get a bit pic heavy! They're not the best definition and some could do with editing to look a bit better but here are some as I took them:
  5. Some fantastic photos there Andrew, thanks for sharing. Some very fond memories from that trip [emoji106]
  6. I've always thought the early spoiler was the best of the bunch. However, there were some aspects of it that didn't tickle my fancy. The TwinZ one ticks some of them boxes and although I don't think it's a "perfect" solution, it's my preferred choice of available spoilers. Yours does look very nice at the right angles though.
  7. Let's talk offsets. If you're going to get these (lovely) wheels, you need to chose them carefully [emoji106]
  8. A rare old sight nowadays that OEM airbox [emoji106]
  9. Happy Birthday Dude [emoji106]
  10. Unfortunately, I can only make the Sunday [emoji17] I would get there fairly early and not stay for too long but if that's £30 on the day, it's a bit steep!
  11. Haha, I hadn't even noticed that police car!
  12. Is that £30 if you only want to come for the Sunday? Can I pay at the gate in the day (and still come and park on the club stand?).
  13. I've tried many different wheels but have never found one I like more than the OEM non-airbag wheel, the only downside to the OEM wheel is that is feels so big. Rubbish picture but here's what I have currently, I think maybe I will get my OEM one retrimmed one day:
  14. Also, that brake fluid really needs a flush dude, it's almost black! Due to the pristine detail of your engine bay, you brake fluid reservoir lid looks like it needs a spruce up and have you considered the oem battery box to hide that eyesore varta? [emoji106]
  15. Haha cool advisory [emoji41] A friend of mine with an Impreza had this advisory on his last MOT:
  16. Russ, pull yourself together ffs!
  17. Cooool [emoji106]
  18. Hmmm, I may be able to make the Sunday after all with some alterations to that weekends plans. Which is lucky as I'm gagging to see Danny's creation [emoji106]
  19. That's some transformation she's gone through Rolandas, clearly lots of time, effort and pound notes gone into that (and some litas [euros])!
