  1. Lost interest in the Ferrari when I saw mention of naked women in this music vid LOL Awesome! :D http://www.fubiz.net/2009/05/12/make-the-girl-dance/
  2. Get some bigger turbo's to go with that lot or if the turbo's are your price limit then you may as well save on some of the other stuff.
  3. Probably fuel leaks under the bonnet. Exhaust fumes don't generally make your eyes sting like that and if it was leaking up front you'd be hearing it blowing.
  4. To be honest I stayed away from iPhones to start with but the app store has really taken off and there's a lot of really good stuff for it now. I do a lot of work setting up different mobiles for business and I don't think they can be beat at the moment. I've got a HTC Touch HD which is fantastic technically but nothing like as useable as an iPhone. There are some serious rumours of a new much improved iPhone coming out in July though so might be worth waiting a couple of months ;) Nokia N97 is out anytime now. HTC Diamond 2 and Touch Pro 2 coming soon (out first on T-Mobile contract I think as their Vario models) Have a look here: http://www.expansys.com/smartphone They always have the latest stuff to buy off-contract ahead of the major carriers getting them. I tend to buy for cash as the phone is not locked to a network and get a cheap SIM only deal with loads of minutes, text and internet for about £25 a month. When you've finished with it you'll probably get most of your money back for it on eBay if you sell just before the next replacement model comes out.
  5. The one thing I've found to be tricky is driving in the wet. When you've a lot of power it's very easy indeed to get it moving sideways when overtaking something. You go to pull out and with only a dab on the pedal it twitches when you are not expecting it. The Racelogic TC will control all this for you though. Just don't go turning it off on your test drive as it will basically stop you from doing anything silly! If it's got the variable slip option then even better - you can start to turn it down and get used to controlling the power without too much risk of it spinning off suddenly. Best thing I ever fitted to mine. Pretty safe in the dry though unless you act like a tit!
  6. That's a lot of finishing touches
  7. Thought I'd be getting a free copy if I get that deal sorted out for ya LOL :D
  8. Only stamp on the pedal when you're in a straight line for starters!
  9. Sorry but I'd say zero as it stands :x: Price of saleable parts maybe?
  10. I think you'll be needing bigger injectors than that with the power you're aiming for. Just checked and the 850cc set is actually on sale at the moment cheaper than the 555's anyway.
  11. Thank fook!
  12. Just changed all my services to Virgin from Sky. Had 20meg Virgin broadband and phone for years and it's superb. No limits or restrictions other than slowing down a bit at busy times but nothing like ADSL does. Was very happy with Sky+ but with HD and movies etc it was going to cost a fortune. Called Virgin and Sky last night and told them I was leaving to see who could give me a better deal. To do everything through Sky would have meant a BT phone line installing and loads of other hastle just to get a slow internet service and wouldn't be cheap. In the end I changed to: 10 meg broadband (rarely need the speed of 20meg and got 50meg at work I can abuse all day long!) XL TV (160 channels) Sky Movies Collection (I'm not into sport) Medium phone (Free weekend calls) V+ HD box (£49 one off charge) can record 2 channels and watch a third (better than Sky+) and twice the storage. Free HD service (although only 1 BBC HD channel at the mo but 6 more in August I'm told and loads of HD on-demand. Hopefully Offcom will make Sky make their HD channels available soon) BBC iPlayer etc is on their too which you can't do on Sky. All for £55 a month. Will save me £40 a month and comes in at £5 less than I was paying Virgin before for broadband and phone anyway. Also... you can get hacked cable boxes ;) At the moment Virgin are a bit restricted on HD content but sooner or later it will be on there and technically Virgin have the best system for the future as it's all going in the direction of on-demand streaming which Sky just can't really do. With Sky you are tied in to their Movie or Sport packages for 12 months but on Virgin you can switch them on and off as you like monthly so if you find you're not watching films much in summer you can save some cash. Did you know Virgin are trialling 200meg broadband in the south at the moment? BT won't be able to compete with that for decades even with their big fibre roll-out that they are starting on.
  13. If you have to change the fuel rail then you might have to change the injectors to suit? Looking really good mate :)
  14. Yes but it's very tricky and time consuming to do. One side is almost impossible if you ask me. I had a go myself then realised it would be quicker to just take the engine out and you can then see all the other bits that are about to fail - old perished pipes etc.
  15. Try the PCV valves first they don't cost much from MJP. Worth doing before you start replacing turbo's. Engine out and new turbo's isn't cheap :(
  16. I did my 60K service myself and it's surprisingly easy if you have the time and the tools. If I wasn't so busy at the moment I'd give you a hand to do it I'm not far away in Harrogate :)
  17. I'll get back to you tonight :) Can't see you noticing any difference upgrading the processor. The RAM might help a little and a bigger drive will give you more storage but I wouldn't be expecting to see much of a change for your money. Laptops are so cheap now you might be better off selling it and putting the £100 towards a new one.
  18. Basically no. You might be able to swap the CPU but you'll find it very hard to get one at a price worth doing and it probably won't be much quicker. You can possibly add more RAM but it won't make much difference. Not much you can do with laptops really.
  19. I really can't beleive the shite that gets discussed on here LOL The girlfriend saw me looking at this and asked what it was so I said some broken suspension parts or I'd never have heard the last of it for being a sad ****er discussing broken washing machines online
  20. Looks like the braided hoses from DTA that go direct to caliper will do the trick but I'm still not sure about whether the bracket is needed for MOT reasons.
  21. Couple of people have said to just connect direct to the caliper with Goodrich hoses. Anyone know what type and thread the connectors are to order some? Edit: Been told doing it this way might be an MOT failure??
  22. Mine came off in bits so glad I ordered one. It's under boost pressure so could be a bit of a bummer if it leaked!
  23. I've had a search but can't find anything about fitting the rears. Looked like a quick job to fit them both but as usual it's a pain! Got the calipers on in no time but I can't connect them up LOL
  24. I got a set of rear R33 calipers but I don't think they came with the complete bracket to mount the brake pipe to. On the Z32 caliper the bracket that holds the small hard pipe out to join the flexi hose on the car is one piece. It won't fit the R33 caliper. The bracket that came with the R33 caliper doesn't have a mounting slot for the flexi pipe so that's no use either. It either bolts up to something else on the Skyline or there's another piece of bracket screws onto it with a hole for the flexi pipe to clip into. Am I missing something? How have you all connected up the pipes on these calipers? I'd thought of just doing away with the bracket and putting the hard pipe straight onto the flexi pipe but then there's no support and it could possibly work the threads loose or snap the pipe with nasty conequences :nono:
