  1. £316! Woohoo! Lowest quote I've ever had. I'm 38, 3 points, Import, Bodykit, Alloys, Full stainless exhaust (I can't see any other mods, can you?) Limited to 5000 miles per year, £250 Excess, £50 Glass excess. Can pay in 10 installments too.
  2. I've got them too and for the reasons Si says. Mine were leaking badly and it was MOT time. Been through 2 MOT's since with no problems :)
  3. Lighter so takes less force to turn it = more power
  4. Can't imagine anyone having a standard exhaust that's in saleable condition. If they're getting rid it's probably because it's been on the car 20 years and looks like a tea strainer LOL
  5. What a delightful posterior that young lady has :D
  6. Yes but she's got fantastic norks! (Don't know why I chose that word it just came into my head from nowhere LOL)
  7. All the lights come on to show you the bulbs are working when you start it then go out.
  8. Hapi birfday :D
  9. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=125492&highlight=photoshop Thought there was more on it than that but nice pic all the same.
  10. It looks like it's already broken to me :x:
  11. There's a lot of other stuff goes wrong at this age so by pulling the engine you can easily replace pipes and other bits that will be in a mess. If you're sure it's just one turbo and it's a temporary fix then it might be worth trying to swap one with the engine in I suppose. Hope you've got small hands and tough skin though, you'll be swearing all through the job and wishing you'd pulled the engine in no time LOL Smoking could just be the PCV valves need replacing? don't cost much to do.
  12. You can link Twitter to Facebook which makes it really useful. Just tweet your status and it puts it on Facebook too :) I'm down as ChrisPCarter if you want to add me.
  13. Hate the music and cheesey Mr Chiles but... Boy would she get it! :smash: :xxx: :smash: :xxx: :smash: :xxx: :smash:
  14. I was right, it's a Bomex panel: http://bomexaeroco.com/bomex/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=156_119 Quite sad that I remember seeing that about 5 years ago. I used to have a Bomex panel on mine but it's not on their site now. Pleeeeease get rid of those stripes and graphics! LOL
  15. Yes it was with a single MAF and a dummy (old faulty) MAF on the other side. You can either modify the chip to double the reading or use something like an Apexi S-AFC which I have. Moved to 2 MAF's as I had reached the limit of it really and also had problems with the mounting position of the Doolz on my car. It positioned the air filters directly under the headlight panel gap and too low down so with my front bumper the filters were constantly getting soaked and making the car run rough or even fail to start after overnight rain. I didn't have a splash guard to make matters worse.
  16. Sounds like the box has worn out I'm afraid. Buring smell from the oil is the usual sign and it starts losing drive in gears.
  17. You can get proper number plate sticky pads from Halfords for a couple of quid :) They do different thicknesses I think for different jobs. Used them on a couple of cars and they've been tested in the wind at 185mph and never come unstuck

Also a wrongly fitted or incorrect type of speedo converter if it's an import ;) Nothing major whatever it is :)
  19. I'm fairly sure Bomex did a panel like that but yours looks a bit home made?
  20. Would have been back on the road if I hadn't found a set of R34 rear calipers at a bargain price! Got half way through fitting them and it pissed it down and been crap every time I've had time to do it since. I really need a garage!
  21. I see why they covered it with a number plate  I've always been a fan of painted rubber seals too!
  22. Not sure :( Haven't got the Z sorted yet and the weekends are passing me by at an alarming rate as something always seems to come up or it pisses it down. Need to spend some time on the Z or I'll be missing summer all together again. Need to get my rear brakes finished off this weekend and get it taxed and tested.
  23. No I'm enforcing some IT policies this week!
  24. It's OK I'm on a posh monitor today so they look a bit small
  25. Get yourself a HID upgrade kit if you're lights are crap. One of the best things I've bought for mine :)
