  1. You could short the wires for the PS fluid level sensor on top of the green pot so it stays off but then you won't get a warning when the level is low. You can hear the pump when the level is down anyway and if you have no leaks it rarely needs checking.
  2. If you read some of the comments on there by pilots it seems you flick the rudder at the last minute to bring it round although it says the Boeing stuff has "auto-land" with sensors that rotate the landing gear to line up with the angle of the runway before it makes contact
  3. I'm surprised you even beat a 911 4s they are about 4 secs to 60 :o I don't think he was really trying.
  4. Get yourself a PTU (Power Transistor Unit) off someone local to try. It's basically a high tech distributor that sends the power to the plugs and they are a common failure. It could even be dirty contacts on the connectors to it. If you look at the front left of the engine behind the water pipes to the radiator you will see a small black box about 4" long with metal heat sink fins on it. Take the connectors off and clean off any green corrosion. A series 2 PTU is available that doesn't go wrong. Don't buy one from Nissan they are about £400! You can get one from US for about $200 or get a 2nd hand one on this forum. It could be something else but this is REALLY common.
  5. Demon Tweeks do the WhiteLine ones at a good price :) Got them on mine and very happy with them.

I'm sure you'll feel a lot less insecure with the extra length :x: Hope it goes well mate :)
  7. And what speed was your ticket in Belgium? 180+? LOL :slap:  My Z is nippy too - the heater doesn't work :D  The old ones are the best...
  8. I think you just order one from Toad?
  9. IMHO 19's always look slightly too big on a Z even when lowered. 18's are just right, 17's look too small and as for the stock wheels... :x:
  10. Only R33 GT-R and R34 GT-R brakes are an upgrade. The R32 GT-R and all GT-S models have the stock Z brakes.
  11. Some info here but it's in Japanese: http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/Articles/tk.htm I see you have one Mr VVL :o :)
  12. Not even sure there is one in the country?
  13. Nothing beats Dumb and Dumber IMO :D LOL
  14. Yeah Wozza would agree with that after this weekend ;) ;)
  15. Edit: Not going to be able to make it now but will be at Billing :(
  16. PCV valves are about £3.50 each from MJP now so get them changed. It's so hard to tell and I've had lots of experts look at mine with no definate answer - worth a go!
  17. You can actually bypass all those little water hoses under the plenum :) They are only there to stop it icing up in extremely cold countries so it's just more to go wrong here.
  18. Were you in The Vicar of Dibley?
  19. Most common ones are the fuel lines on top of the engine and in particular the fuel regulator just to the top right of the central cover up the engine. It looks like a small mushroom shaped thingy with 3 pipes going to it. The tiny piece of pipe underneath is hidden and a common problem. The other hidden pipe is as someone else said, under the plenum/throttle linkage at the front centre of the engine. It joins the 2 halves of the fuel rail and is a pain to get to. Chris.
  20. My advice is.... paint the bonnet :D
  21. Exactly! I think you completely missed my point! LOL That's a couple of grands worth of system and it aint THAT much better than running my Xbox 360! Especially when you can just slap a disk in and switch it on and play on a 48" TV through a top notch Dolby surround system which I already had so cost nothing :D I used to spend so much time pissing about with settings and drivers, tweaking stuff, setting up controls etc etc I hardly played the game. Have a look at Gears of War etc on my system and tell me you're glad you paid £2K extra LOL Oh and I have a Dell XPS laptop with dual core processors, 2GB RAM and 512MB graphics for when I'm out and about :D It's got LED's on it too!
  22. And no PC can ever compare to a console, ever
