Anyone got Smithy's foglight air ducts?
I'll have a look at his pics if he has any. I was thinking of maybe having them carbon or black against the silver as i've a lot of black on my car. Not sure without seeing them though :)

Dry Sump Test :)
I'd love to do this conversion myself. Very interested to see how it turns out and the costs involved :) Just hope that bit of plumbing works or it's going to be expensive! LOL

Zed stolen by a fellow Zedder ?
It does sound like someone who really knows their Z's. Just hope it isn't anyone off here who took it or they will get some serious grief!

Happy Birthday ChrisC
Thanks guys! I just got home from the best birthday weekend ever, despite hitting 36 and starting to feel like it's all downhill to 40 now! :( It got off to an early start on friday night when I got told I've got a new job on great money working with some guys I've known for years, including my best mate Sam the party animal who some of you might have met :) Woohoo! Decided to celebrate the job and my 36th early so out with the boys friday and I only pulled a stunning 18 year old exactly half my age! Result! :D I've now forgotten about heading for 40 Hahahaha! Saturday birthday night out to a nice restaurant with a lovely lady and a night in a posh hotel for fun and frollics :p LOL Rest of the bank holiday to recover now and do some work on the Z. It's been suffering the last 2 years cos of lack of funds but with the new job it will be spruced up ready for summer and I'll be able to get to more of the meets :)

road trip
Very nice, give the good lady one from me :x:  Where you going? I go up there quite a bit as my bro lives in Scottyland.

Excellent service
Because nobody can be arsed to do their job properly  I remember ordering a PTU from Courtesy Nissan in Texas at 10pm on a Sunday night and it arrived at 8.30am on the Tuesday morning  That saved me about £200 on Nissan UK's price and I'd have had to walk into their spares dept and order it and then go collect it 2 days later. I don't think any car dealer in the UK has advanced to online ordering yet!

What Chip u Runnin.
You missed my chips off and there's about 70 of them running about the UK LOL Most of these chips are based on JWT or SE's chips anyway so all pretty irrelevant IMO ;)

Wide Arch Imports
Most of the wide arch kits are made here in Europe?

Standard Boost
Most boost leaks are pretty consistent. If you've got a pipe that's a bit loose then it will hold pressure up to a point then let air out. I'd just tighten everything up and see what happens :)
-
Standard Boost
if it's showing 8 on the aftermarket gauge then that's what you're getting so boost leak is most likely.
-
Boost Leak help
Should be pretty easy to locate there. The only boost related pipes are off the red balance bar across the top of the engine. Check the small pipes are firmly on and not split. Might be worth tightening the balance bar down and maybe checking/replacing the "O" ring seals under it.

Do zed's have a front CV joint?
Could be the upper suspension link/bushes are worn as it often causes this. Tension rods would show up as a bad shuddering when braking (a bit like warped brake disks) so unlikely that.

Anyone got a Swoosh Oil Temp gauge spare?
Result! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-Swoosh-Smoky-52-Oil-Temp-gauge-Centigrade_W0QQitemZ160103292424QQihZ006QQcategoryZ72215QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting That looks like the one! I've searched eBay a few times for Swoosh and it's never come up with that guys products :smash: Thanks chaps!

Anyone got a Swoosh Oil Temp gauge spare?
I ordered 3 Swoosh gauges of GetGreddy and he never supplied the Oil Temp gauge. I've been searching around and can't seem to find this model anywhere, only the newer style Defi copies. If I can't find one I might have to sell the 2 I have as it will look crap in my triple pillar pod with one not matching.

lookie what me bought, do you think it will suit??
E for Euro approved part I think? I presume the Skyline was sold in the rest of Europe, not just UK?
-
Brake caliper recon
Calipers don't warp  From what you describe 100% it's the tension rod bushes causing it and they're the cheapest to replace before you start changing disks. Speak to Mike at MJP :)

New Toy 750 BHP
I was going to say I hoped you've looked into running costs before you buy! LOL I get pissed off at putting £200 in my boat for the day and another £100 in the Z to get to the coast and back! LOL Always fancied cruising round the med but the fuel costs are crazy for a week or 2.

Alfa selespeed problem Need quick answer.
The Selespeed is more like a modified manual box than a normal auto so it sounds like it's knackered. I don't know why you'd want to stay away from the V6 it's been in use for about 15 years in various forms and is one of the most reliable and respected performance V6's out there :) I've had 2 with not a single problem... until I wrote one off LOL

Apexi SAFC II Wiring help please
I wired mine up on the grass at JAE using a Japanese manual :D LOL I'll try and have a quick look through it and let you know but might take me a day or 2 i'm really busy this weekend.
