Anyone Been To Tunisia ?
Went to Port El Kentoui about 15 years ago and enjoyed it. Expect queues of men hanging around if you have any blondes with you LOL Don't go out there for the drinks! Beer is silly money as they don't drink over there and there's about 1 brand on sale in redbull sized cans LOL I seem to remember a bottle of Bells Whisky on sale for about £85 in the local market and that was 15 years ago LOL

What Blow Off Valves ??
If you want BOV's then the the TurboXS ones are the loudest - I have them on mine as well. But... They make the psssshhhhhh sound LOL not the fluttering noise. I think to get that you need some fancy wastegates which is a major job and I've never heard a Z set up to make that noise

Overfuelling.....OH NO!!!!!!
You really need a Z specialist or at least someone with the Nissan Consult diagnostics so they can plug it in and see which sensor is not responding properly. Your average garage will probably just take a guess and say you need a shit load of parts and hand you a big bill LOL There might be someone up your way on this forum who will pop by and run a test :)

Overfuelling.....OH NO!!!!!!
Pretty sure you're right there, which is why I said it wouldn't fail an MOT :)

Dont buy or deal with this man !
I'm pretty sure you can report it to eBay as a dispute and it goes to mediation if he doesn't agree to amend his feedback. The mediation will clearly go in your favour based on the facts. I did this with someone who messed me about then left negative feedback and won the dispute.

fao ChrisC or Markzx or Jonce or any german driving advice
Is that partially in German or something?  I can't remember the route we took but there's plenty of autobahn on your route. A lot of the Belgian motorways have no restrictions either :) In 2005 when we did the Kings Of Europe trip, one of the Z's broke down on the motorway and the Belgian police turned up to help us out. We were unsure of the road markings and as the cops loved our cars we asked them what the speed limit was: "Go as fast as you like guys!" was the answer  You don't hear that from police very often :D  Don't forget you'll need a European safety kit in the car. You can get one from Halfords for about £20 I think. Includes first aid stuff, headlight beam adjusters (don't work on a Z though LOL), road safety triangle etc that you have to have in Germany and other countries. You also have to have a full can of fuel as you can be fined for running out. Don't forget to take all your vehicle documents. Have a read of these: http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice/overseas/general_advice.html http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice/touring_tips/AA_Germany.pdf http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice/overseas/compulsory_equipment.html Might be worth getting AA European cover too. I got it for about £55 for a 4 day trip and had to use it when my fan belt snapped. Saved me a fortune getting towed. Useful stuff: SatNav, Walkie Talkies if you're in convoy - saves your mobile bill when you get lost!

Insurance query - TT classification
Yes the pre '89 Z31 300ZX is a single turbo so it might be that they have listed. Like Bird said, see if there's a Fairlady listed as that's what it was known as outside the UK.

Overfuelling.....OH NO!!!!!!
You had an emissions test done at the market??? Take it to a specialist and let them have a look, they might actually know what they are talking about and it certainly isn't an MOT failure. If it's not fueling correctly then it is probably a faulty sensor or could even be set up that way with a custom mapped ECU. Is the car totally standard?

nissan 300zx
AIV system. Gets clogged up with water over the years and makes a gurgling sound. You can drill a hole in the bottom to drain the water off or rip the whole lot out as it's not really needed.

Anyone got an M12x1mm nut? LOL
I've got one of SE's HICAS eliminators to fit but there's a nut missing and after lots of searching I've worked out it's an M12 x1mm thread but I can't find one anywhere  Found a few with a larger/coarser thread but not 1mm. Anyone got one knocking about?

What car do you have? Posted on another forum.
I once went into my local Shell station and the guy behind the counter asked if it was a Bugatti :D I just said "I wish" LOL I can see why though. There's even a front for the Z that's obviously copied off the Bugatti.

Have PCV valves and hoses cured your smoking problem
Yes there's oil in the pipes and plenum that needs to be cleared out. It took mine about a week of driving to completely clear up :)
