  1. I've just had my 4Mb Virgin/NTL cable upgraded to 20Mb and the service is ridiculous. Any time from about 5pm until midnight I'm only getting 1.2Mb! After 1am I can get 19Mb though which is awesome but it really was way faster on 4Mb most of the time I use it. Doing some reports then going to have words with them as this is a total rip off.
  2. Wheels are lovely, same as Mental Tony / Eggy had. Cost him £3K I think all in with tyres and VAT. Don't really like the body kits but those side skirts with the pointy wings on are quite funky!
  3. Yes thats an auto turbo rad so will be fine :)
  4. I drove my TT around for 3 months with no booster on an ACT clutch and got used to it LOL My mate got in the car and had to put both feet on the pedal and pull on the steering wheel to move it  It was so heavy it was more or less on and off so not very good for hill starts!
  5. Yeah that's cool :hyper: I wonder if we could get a few sets of those pipe mountings made up? :) I know Mac is doing this too.
  6. Yep the best deal I could find recently. I've got Falkens on and really happy with them, especially for the money.
  7. Thinking of doing this when i get my fog light ducts from Smithy this week :) Only thing i'm not sure of is the best way to mount the pipe near the wheel to give the best cooling.
  8. Mac posted some nice pics of the setup in his boot recently but I'm not sure you'd work much out from it. Do a search, I'm at work trying not to be spotted on here or I'd find it for ya LOL :)
  9. There's very few people running extra pumps on here as they're only for serious BHP. Those that are all use external ones I think.
  10. Hi guys! I've bought loads of stuff off you over the years and always been very happy :) Good service and great prices compared with what we have to pay here, plus the current exchange rates are making buying from the U.S even better. Chris.
  11. English? Someone had to point it out ;)
  12. Happy Birthday!!! :duffer:
  13. You shouldn't need to be trickle charging your battery  If it's going flat in a week either the battery is knackered or there's something else wrong and it's draining it.
  14. Don't be silly
  15. You only like it for the greenhouse scene :nelson: LOL
  16. Yep a nice intro page would be cool with maybe some featured articles/threads/news posted up each month :) The sigs thing is just stupid for a forum like this. I've never been on any other forum where people can just post up pages of pics and text on the bottom of every post and before you say it, I don't see why sigs should have to be turned off when they are there to contain useful info! You can have quite a decent size wide image with a small file size but because it's not enforced by the BBS software people just post up any old hooog pic they find LOL Maybe you should think of others visiting the forum from work, laptops on GPRS, smart phones, PDA's etc. Not everyone accesses this site from home on a 20" monitor with a high speed broadband connection. If you want to show off your car then link to the rides section, that's what it's there for ;) Regards, Chris, 300ZX.co.uk IT Manager LOL
  17. What kind are you looking for? You got PM ;)
  18. Get an ammeter and connect it in line with your battery and it will show the current being drawn. Then you can unplug stuff until you see the amps drop to near zero. Clock, alarm etc will use some power though so it won't go back to zero.
  19. The way the forum works is down to the BB software, Mike is talking about changing the style - logo's, images, colours etc ;) Never been too keen on the colour scheme. More Smilies. How about a signature pic size limit - they have this on the JapGirls site using the same software as us and if you add a massive image it gets removed automatically. Some of the ones on here are just stupid, up to 1024x768 makes viewing on most office PC's ridiculous! Rides is crap!
  20. I'd like to see how quick on the draw you are with your garage door opener as you approach a copper at 100mph LOL
  21. OK yes she is... shame about the driver :x:
  22. Laser detectors are pretty useless as in most cases if you pick up a laser signal they have already got your speed. Only time it will work is if they're scanning the car directly in front, in which case they probably aren't going to point it at you anyway. I'd use a jammer but as has been said, you need to slow down quick and switch it off before they realise you are using one.
  23. Errrr yes it is and in a lot of cases they're not :headvswal That's quite a major problem if your business depends on an incompatible piece of software! :mac1: LOL
  24. I used to do IT work for this firework company. I'm sure they will know some professionals as they import and test all sorts of stuff from bangers to big display stuff: http://www.brightstaruk.com/ Great prices and 2 for 1 offers etc so well worth a look for bonfire night too :)
