  1. Ahaaaaa! Got it :) Thanks mate. All converted now so no more dragging music folders to my phone/PDA and then finding half of them won't play once I'm on the road :mac1: LOL
  2. No mine is Jap with a UK hooligan and no auto box cooler :D  The car is now a Jap/UK hybrid manual  LOL
  3. Nice one! :D Don't you just hate MOT stations! :mac1:
  4. It's true it's common to be in safety mode and not know it. With a boost controller the boost solenoids are disconnected so in safety mode the boost isn't lowered but the ignition is still retared giving a performance drop. So even with a boost controller you will get the ECU showing a safety mode error but might not notice it much in driving.
  5. I'd tell them that's the way every 300ZX in this country works and to go read the testing instructions again. If they won't pass it say you're taking your business elsewhere as there's nothing wrong with it and many cars work like that.
  6. I don't think you can say an old gearbox has failed earlier than it would have. It could have gone anytime after all these years.
  7. Not bad but my boat would wup his ass! LOL That is a mental boat!
  8. £32 delivery though... Still looks a good deal.
  9. Put the viscous fan back on as there's no benefit in having electric anyway
  10. I've got the one of the Maxtor One Touch external drives and it has a backup button on it that's really useful - one press and the PC is backed up. These Western Digital My Book 500GB drives are pretty good value for £98: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Western-Digital-Essential-USB2-0-External/dp/B000EXZB0M/ref=pd_ka_2/202-2670422-7764640?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1174520323&sr=8-2
  11. Nothing really but it only works on Micro$haft PC's and media players whereas MP3 is universal so phones, PDA's, stereos etc etc all support it and I have LOTS of gadgets LOL Just installed iTunes and it is automatically converting all my WMA files to AAC format and the only option on the Advanced menu is to convert to AAC?
  12. Yeah Betty's Tea Room is the gun crime capital of the north
  13. Yeah until you try to download and they want $5 for the "freeware" version to cover their bandwidth costs! LOL The full version trial seems to work OK though so might pay the $5 for the cut down version unless I can somehow use iTunes. I'll see if I can download that from Apple.
  14. Looks totally mint inside :) Will you be keeping it standard? :D LOL
  15. Yep front is WingsWest or a copy. The Scarab from Z Centre is almost identical (Same as mine) but doesn't have the flared out front skirt tabs on the bottom edge. The rest is all Strosek or copies. Show the pic to Z Centre and he'll give you a price.
  16. It's not much warmer here! It's come freeeeezing again and been snowing/sleeting all week LOL
  17. I'll have a search and see what they do. Ripping isn't a problem - I was actually wanting something to convert all my WMA files to MP3 in one go and not have to re-rip them all.
  18. Here you go mate:
  19. Do you mean the wipers are stopping because of the air pressure or stopping there when you switch them off?
  20. SWBZ, If you didn't receive your members pack then have a word with Steve-300ZX and I'm sure he'll be able to sort something out. Chris.

Oh yeah! LOL I should know, I've bought enough of it :D P.S.... Try some butterflies instead of your moths!!!!!
  23. I had the same sort of noise and it was the tension rod bolts coming loose after a garage hadn't tightened them properly. 1 nut was actually missing! Could also be worn tension rod bushes.
  24. When it becomes worn or on higher power cars it can give a squirmy feel to the back end and some people just prefer the car without the rear steering. If you don't really need it then it's a lot less to go wrong :)
