I don't think you will find any others that fit. Most bulbs are European standard so I would think if we haven't found any in the UK then you will have the same problem in Germany. They are dead easy to wire up, you just need a H3, piece of wire and a crimp spade connector. Get someone to solder the wire to the back of the outer metal casing and it's done. I found it's best to pass the wire through the casing and tie it on then solder as it can get very hot during use and drop off if not secured.

In the fusebox :D There is a fusebox near the passenger headlamp (for lights/major electrical stuff) and another top secret hidden fusebox to the right of the accelerator pedal for mostly interior stuff. Not a lot of people know that... :cool: LOL

Uprated Recircs will not "honk" but BOV's will affect performance but whether you would notice it or not I don't know.

Well the original shocks have arrived this morning! :D Shame I ordered another set for delivery next week :( If anybody wants a set let me know.

I'm really pissed off with nearly every supplier I've used to sort my Z out. I've been without it for 10 months now and wasted almost a whole years tax and insurance because of things not arriving and holding everything else up! Is there nobody who can deliver things on time? I wouldn't mind if I was told the parts will take 4 months each time or whatever but I just get the usual "they are in stock" or "a couple of weeks" :mad: The money this has cost me I could have flown to the U.S for a few days holiday, bought everything I needed and still saved a few quid!

I could have done but I ordered a full set of Koni's and Blitz springs from Grasshopper in July. The springs and front Koni's arrived last week and were fitted but the rear shocks have not turned up :mad: I'm trying to find a rear set from elsewhere as after about 15 phone calls and being told "they will be sent today" or "they should have been delivered" I have given up hope and can't drive the bloody car because of it.

Does anyone know of a company that might have them in stock? I am going to try to buy some and cancel the original order or sell a set if they all turn up at once.

I know but it worked a few months ago with a set of Veilside side skirts :D Can't believe my car is going to be totally finished and I can't get it MOT'd and drive it cos of the shocks I ordered in July! :mad:

Yes that was me. Even though that was a total ripoff (I don't think they even knew what the overheating fault was so quoted head gaskets) it is nothing compared to £6K for the SAME job! Best thing was Hiteq gave me the Rad cap F.O.C and didn't want to accept any cash that I offered him for helping me out. Just shows it's worth a tank full of petrol to go to someone who knows their stuff. My local Nissan dealer closed down last year so I'm happy :) If I need to travel to get things fixed I may as well go to a specialist who knows what they are doing and doesn't try to rip me off. I think Nissan work on the basis that most small garages don't like to touch these engines and think they can charge what they like.

LOL 72 hours - that's about 10 working days, 2 full weeks working on it!

My Z will be out of the bodyshop on tuesday/wednesday next week but the rear Koni adjustable shocks have not arrived. I've got the front Blitz Springs and Koni's fitted but the car needs an MOT and Tax before I can drive it and one of the rear shocks is leaking. Has anyone got a set of rears that they haven't fitted yet that I could have? You can have my new set as soon as they arrive (should have been with me last week)

In Outlook Express got to the Tools Menu, then Options, click Maintenance Tab, click Store Folder. This will show you where the messages/settings are stored. The address book is a .wab file and will be in: C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book This is if you are using Windows 2000 or XP. Will be similar for Windows 98 etc

From what I have seen they have made a total mess of the event for spectators. As you said, up until about 2 years ago all you had to pay was a couple of squids for parking and you could go wherever you wanted in the forests. Now they have started making massive charges and trying to justify it with so called improved services, safety and viewing areas they have totally ruined it. It used to be fun walking the roads and seeing the action close up - pushing stranded drivers out of ditches etc. It was always hard enough getting to the stages before but to get there and find there are no tickets is ridiculous. Also the rally used to cover a nuch larger area - North Yorkshire, Cumbria, Wales etc making it easy for people to view at least some of it. Now it's all in south Wales it's not so easy.

Vijay, I was up at PPS again today putting more interior in and Peter was getting on with your Z. Give him a call mate as he was amazed at what a crap job had been done on your car. Every 2 minutes he was shouting and swearing about another bodge he had found from that previous place. He's not impressed to say the least. Frank goodness you didn't go back there!
