I was at PPS putting the interior back in the "Gay Spaceship" today. It's stayed silver and I have to say the quality is way better than the original Nissan coating. The clear lacquer coat looks like glass in the light. I am seriously impressed. Just needs the rear hatch and front bumper spraying before I get it back. Vijay, If your Z is going in next week you may well get to see mine before it leaves and I'm sure it will give you a lot of confidence in Pete's skills.

I got a quote from Muffman to do my turbos and apparently they take 5 months each to change if you are Stella'd up!

A new case is only about £20-£50 squids and you can use the current ATX motherboards then so doubt if you'll find anything. I haven't seen a new AT board for a couple of years.

The best way to do it is install Windows 98 on the new PC then put your old drive in as a second drive and copy your data over then re-install the programs. You need to know what to copy over and what not though. Another way to do it (but may cause driver problems) would be to upgrade your current PC to Win98 then use a drive image/copy utility like Partition Magic or something to copy the old drive to the new one. Install the new drive with the upgraded Windows into the new PC and hope it boots up and install the hardware drivers. then you can format your old drive as spare storage. Just be carefull about connecting a very old drive on the same IDE channel as a new drive. I did this recently and it corrupted the new drive with windows on it during copying. Worked fine with both drives on different channels/controllers.

Hi Mate, I live just outside Leeds myself and have had a fair bit of work done. Should have some pics up on the forum soon as it's due out of the bodyshop this weekend. There are a couple of others round here with some serious mods if you fancy meeting up for a beer and a chat sometime.

Even more sad news from me. After many years of avoiding hedgehogs in the road I've managed to kill one in my back garden with a bucket FFS! Found the deceased critter on Bonfire Night. Silly little bugger had climbed into an old bucket behind my shed that had filled with rainwater :S They obviously don't swim very well and have no winch under their spines to hoist themselves out. Poor little blighter :'( Anyway the grey squirrel deserves to have it's ass kicked. Why have we not yet armed the red massive to rise up against the grey foreign invasion?

I just got them from Halfords, think they are slightly higher wattage but have been working fine for 2 years.

Come along for a look. There should be a few Z'ers meeting up if all goes well. I might give the silver outfit a miss though... LMFAO!

I'm sure Paul's are Katzkin leather ones and he just had to take the old seat covering off and pull the new ones on. I went down to Trax with him and they were very nice with Z logo's too. Ask him for details/pics etc. I just went for the door/console trim kit from Z Centre which is cut to shape but you have to fit to the panels yourself.

Wrap 'em in polystyrene and throw 'em out of a plane... :D

The seat kits are ready made and just need stretching over and fixing underneath. Should have some pics of my Z with it's black & silver interior this weekend.

This is no joke either. I had a very official looking letter addressed to my business with exactly the same scam and stamped from Nigeria. It was offering a very similar transaction by some Nigerian government department through my bank account but for some reason I didn't follow it up and missed out on my $50 million or whatever! Oh well... There was something on Watchdog about this scam last year and it's still going on. Must be working if they can afford to keep sending post and e-mail to people all over the world.
