windows NT/ formating hard drive
NT has no DOS (it's too good for that!) You need to use a DOS/Win95/98 boot disk and boot from it, run FDISK and delete the non-DOS NTFS partition. Reboot the PC from the disk, run FDISK again and create a partition and make it bootable. Reboot again and FORMAT C: /S If you are installing Win98 or something then all you have to do is use FDISK as above to delete the existing partition and then boot from the Win98 CD to format it and re-install all in one go. Sounds like the BIOS is not set to boot from floppy or the floppy drive is not working correctly. Is the disk you are trying to boot from definately bootable? It needs to be a proper system disk.

Liquid pouring in cockpit
You need a new matrix (not sure exactly how much but think I remember it being about £300?) Then you need to remove most of the dash which takes a day or two in labour! £1000? $£$£$£$£ Not good :(

Motorshow at the NEC and WRC
Just aim to get there for your usual time of 6pm! LOL I'm up for the WRC stages as I've mentioned to Timski but will have to stay overnight in a B&B or something as it's not worth the travel for just one day and you have to be there early. It starts on the thursday night but not much happens until friday. I'm intending going for Saturday and Sunday myself. Anyone fancy making it a 2 day meet with a forum piss-up in the local pubs around Cardiff on the Saturday night? http://buypower.vauxhall.co.uk/networkQ/rally.jhtml

petrol smells yuk/airconditioning
Put talc around all the fuel pipe joints before you start it up in the morning - it will show up the leak easily. It's usually hard to see unless you have a major leak and as the fuel evaporates so quickly this makes the job a lot easier. Check around and under the fuel regulator and damper on top of the engine at the back (one each side and look like black mushroom type thingies!). Also check the fuel pipes under the throttle linkage in the middle at the front of the engine. There's a short piece of pipe about 2 inches long that leaks quite often and is a pain in the arse to change - I know!

LMFAO!

bad chip!!!!
I heard the superchips one just moves the rev and speed limiters up but doesn't alter the fueling. They do claim more power though so surely they must know it would damage the engine if there's no increase in fueling...

Well done for not buying the first one you saw. I was lucky with mine but have heard all sorts of horror stories and had a few problems since buying mine and I was REALLY lucky I got a good one.

GPS Speeding Camera detectors - Which one and where to buy???
You need to add locations yourself for a few reasons: Mobile speed traps are not in the database so you might know a local spot where the police often try to catch you with a laser speed gun or mobile gatso. You can add your own accident blackspots. You can mark out the top pubs in your area to remind you to stop off for a beer or mark your house so you know when you are home... You say you don't need a laser jammer but without one you are still going to get caught by the pigs with a hand held unit. The only times I have been done for speeding it has been by a cop hiding behind a bush with a radar gun. I know that all radar guns have been replaced with laser now though. The motorway only feature sounds like a waste of time as there are hardly any traps on the motorways anyway and what happens when you come off the sliproad and forget to switch it back to normal? There are far more traps on normal A roads. Without a radar detector you can't pick up mobile gatso cameras. I've got a Bell 980 radar/laser detector and it works really well but the problem with laser detection is that by the time you hear the beeps the cop has more than likely already got you. The only thing it will do is pick him up if he scans a car in front of you etc. For total protection you need a GPS type device, radar and laser detector and a laser jammer. Expensive!

Vibrating speedo needle
If it's the speed sensor then the car will not run correctly. Take it for a test drive for at least 15 mins as the ECU seems to take time to decide the speed sensor is faulty and will start doing funny things after about 10 mins if thats the case.

Vibrating speedo needle
Could be the speedo going faulty but may not get any worse. Which LCD does he mean? There is no LCD so he must mean either the clock in the centre console of the air-con control panel. Either would be fairly cheap to replace with 2nd hand stuff off someone on here. Don't even think of asking Nissan!
