  1. It's going to take more than the bottle of fairy liquid on the roof to clean that up! LMFAO
  2. I ordered all the parts in the middle of Feb so 9 LONG months! My car was at PPS in May I think but the side skirts didn't arrrive for about 5 months which held the job up. They were the first part to be fitted :( I just try to think of the petrol I've saved! (but the insurance and tax I wasted!) Got to get the thing MOT'd and taxed when it finally emerges! :(
  3. Me too. I have enough forums to read my way through here without joining another that has no members. Maybe it will fill up but until then I imagine it's going to be slow to get going. Do think it's being a bit cheeky advertising on here and not putting a link on his site. Maybe it's because anyone who finds that forum would leave once they were pointed in the direction of this one? :D

I've got a Pug 206 1.9 DTurbo and it's pretty nippy and does about 50 to the gallon. I was using my Z as a daily driver and after looking at my petrol receipts one month and finding I'd spent £600 I went out and got the Pug on contract hire. £14K car costs me £280 a month inc insurance but I'm spending less than £150 on diesel! At the end of the contract next year I might keep it as it's a great little car. Then I'm really saving. Means I've got a 2nd car with porper back seats/boot plus less wear on my Z so less bills and it'll be with me longer.
  5. After all the waiting I've delayed things myself by ordering the tailgate tub from the Z Centre LOL
  6. All monitors have the degaussing system or they would be like that all the time. When you switch the monitor on you will hear a "bong" type noise and this is the circuit working. It's louder on some monitors than others. Some have a button on the front or an option in the On Screen Display to degauss - it's usually a horse shoe magnet shape. You might find that just switching the monitor off and on over a few days clears it. Monitors that are left on all the time next to magnets will suffer most from this. Get yourself some magnetically shielded speakers if it's a problem.
  7. Arse licker! :D
  8. It's hard to review the Pieline when it looks so dull and dumpy. Unless it's sideways on a track it looks just like my vectra - even the same purple/blue colour. Give me a black Z with a nice kit anytime...
  9. Seen the ones on Z Centre, Paul Bailey and Ka$h's car. Want to see it on a 2+2 preferably. Alex Blackwell is sending me some pics of his hopefully.
  10. It only takes about 10 mins to take the inside door trim off and unscrew the handle. You could do this yourself before the chip guy arrived. A lot of them do dent repairs so if the metal is bent then they would be able to sort that too.
  11. LOL Yeah I watched it - thought the Aston/Ferrai bit was superb. LMFAO when Jezza in the Ferrari says to Damon Hill in the Aston "Pull over if I flash to come past" LOL "Like that's going to happen" says Damon. LMFAO :D Why did they bother with this competition round the track when half of them are driving in the wet? Most of the guys are only a couple of seconds off the top time so the rain would totally wipe out the results. Surely they could have waited and filmed it all on dry days. :@
  12. The side skirts are Veilside ones but they have had the rear end chopped off and blended into the scoops that come with the wide arches. Got them from Z Centre £300, but after having them on order for over 6 months JayPSC lent me his. (Mucho thanks again mate!) Mine are meant to be going to Jay now but I still don't think he has received anything after what must be 9 months from me ordering... http://www.zcentre.co.uk/sideskirts/zc061ab.htm To do a decent job of fitting them and blending them in I would think you would need to have the whole side sprayed? Suppose you could spray them and fix them on but doubt if they would look like they were part of the car. Same for spoiler really. Give Pete a call at PPS on 0191 5237677 he's a nice guy to deal with. They are in Sunderland but well worth travelling for a good job. Z Centre wanted about £4500 to fit and paint my kit - it was half that at PPS and it's a far better job from what I've seen. Wouldn't have been able to afford to have all this done other than at PPS.
  13. I wasn't too sure about them after seeing a few other cars since ordering and was tempted not to use them and just sell 'em on the forum. I decided I'd get them fitted and see what I thought. I got them cheap and could always get more than I payed for them so wouldn't have cost me anything to go back to the old ones. Have to say I think they look really good on silver and I'm getting the indicator and reversing light coloured red so that it will have 4 red lights on the back. You can see we've swapped them around in some of the pics to see the effect. I think you really need the wide arches with them or they seem to be too small and too far apart on a stock car. They don't seem to suit all colours either.
  14. Does she have leaky T-tops too? :D
  15. It means fukk me like a pig! Sqeeeel! :D :D :D LOL
  16. They are 18"x10" with 285's Must be half the UK's oil reserves in 'em! :D

You're not going to get anything much cheaper than that I don't think. Problem is you need 2 of everything on a Z :( I did put a link to the Thai Z site where a guy has made up some pipework to use a single BOV but you probably need metal hard pipes to do it. Have a search of the forum for single BOV or similar.
  18. Here's my pics. http://www.myfamily.com/isapi.dll?c...CT&categoryid=0 Username: ChrisCarter395 Password: nismo Expecting to collect it next weekend hopefully but might not have time to get the interior back in :(
  19. The line along the bottom of the doors I think. Me and Macca have had ours done but they are not exactly standard cars.
  20. LMFAO I wonder what that thing is every time I go up there. Must be Macca's new bonnet bulge or something :D
  21. Why tell them you were on double yellows? Was it dark? Chances are the other guy doesn't know you were on yellows anyway. If you bumped into someone and decided to do a runner would you be checking out the road markings first? I doubt if it would get as far as someone taking a look at the site of the accident.
  22. It must add a hell of a lot of MASS. A couple of hundred KG's of fibreglass and a bucket of filler under that paint! LOL It's loud too with the straight through zorsts and no cats or baffles in the back boxes!
  23. Yeah sorry it's shit but I discovered BT have taken my webspace and POP mail access off me and just let me use webmail because I am using NTL broadband and not their dial-up. They want about £9 a month for me to keep the services FFS Tight ****ers! My NTL webspace has never worked and have spent about 5 hours trying to get through to support only to be told there is no problem with it. There is but what the hell do these dipsticks know or care.
  24. I think he charges about £900 for a full respray but could be wrong. I just got a total price for the whole job doing.
