  1. Yes ;)
  2. Which cheeky ****er has been changing the pics? LMFAO! I'd need a set of forged pistons before my Z would be quick enough with that huge arsed bird in my Z! Roy doesn't your Mrs mind you posting pics of her like that? LMFAO It's OK, I'm getting a new bird to go with the car anyway ;) Chris.
  3. The Short WheelBase is an import only. Imports can be SWB, 2+2, Turbo or Normally Aspirated All available with auto or manual box apart from the SWB which is manual only as far as I know? All UK cars are 2+2 Turbos.

There is a link on how to do this somewhere - someone will have it.
  5. You are best using one of the specialists recommended on this site as a Nissan dealer will charge you a fortune for the 60K service - could easily end up around £1000! You can get a specialist to do it for about £300 I think. A lot of spares etc are silly money from Nissan but you can order them online from Courtesy Nissan in the US and they arrive in a couple of days (often quicker than Nissan here!) Their prices are often 50%-75% cheaper. There are also a few people on this forum selling second hand parts at bargain prices. If you are used to driving a 306 then you are probably going to have at least twice as much power on a standard Z anyway so I'd get used to the rear wheel drive handling before you up the power! There are lots of us on this forum who have had some very lucky escapes in the first few months of ownership. I bet there's not one person here who hasn't needed a clean pair of undies after losing the back end on a damp road!
  6. They are only 6" - I couldn't find anywhere that could make them any bigger! :( :D It doesn't look bad for a car that's 12 years old. Wild Turkey - I'll be over in York in a week or 2 for a night out so I might give you a call and drop by on a sunday if you're in.
  7. So is it a gay spaceship or what? LMFAO :D
  8. http://www.myfamily.com Login: chriscarter395 Password: nismo The car is covered in a thick layer of dust at the mo but will be getting a good polish before I get it back this week.

All I can say is you were very lucky! Looks like you have been battered from all sides :s
  10. Was it you Stuart? I don't think it was you either... ;)
  11. Not yet but I'll be putting one together shortly. We used to have a Rides section with everyones pics in but the new server software doesn't allow it at the moment :( I think the last year they were sold here was about '94 because of emissions and poor sales but they were still produced in Japan until 2000 I think. You can buy the '99 spec kit from Nissan but some parts are very expensive.
  12. It's looking the dogs danglies if I do say so myself :D Will get some pics up later if I'm not too pissed ;) Only problem is it wouldn't start this afternoon for some reason. It's been fine every time we've tried it recently so I can only think it's a loose connection somewhere. It's turning over but won't fire. Didn't get time to check for a spark but it can't be anything too major. Many thanks to Peter at PPS for doing a superb job. I'm going to collect it this week when the boot trim has been put back and it's been MOT'd and valeted. Then it's over to the Grasshopper open day next sunday to show it off ;) Can't wait.
  13. That pic is just the stock kit on the late models - '99 year I think.
  14. Type R for Rubdown! Those are very big flakes in that pearl paint :D
  15. Not all cars had cruise but I have it on my import and most UK cars seem to have it. Some of the best 007 secret features: HICAS rear wheel steering on TT's Auto box selects Power mode for 10 secs when you boot it. Aircon is temporarily switched off when you boot it to give more power. Pulling the handbrake up 1 notch stiffens the rear suspension (not all cars). Temp sensor near the interior light so it knows whether to warm your feet or the compartment etc Lots of fault diagnostic modes built in. I'm sure there are some more I forgot :D
  16. Yes and electric folding mirrors which UK cars don't have.
  17. No, it must have been a Sunny 1.3 mate :D
  18. Did they all have baseball caps by any chance? :D

That number above is for their specialist vehicle section ONLY for imports which is nice to know that UK Z's get turned away for once! :D They have another number for normal cars etc. I couldn't find my insurance certificate yesterday to get my tax so called them and they got my details in seconds without needing to mess me about with policy numbers etc. Copy of the certificate arrived this morning. Every time I've dealt with them they have sorted things out quickly and easily. Got to be a first for me insurance wise.

Your brakes sound dangerous to me - the disks shouldn't move. I have a load of camber correction kits being delivered in the next week or two and will probably have a few spares so I'll let you know. I don't think the front camber is adjustable on ANY Z's, UK or otherwise.
  23. Yeah just wait till he gets a stone through the oil cooler and see how his wipers cope with a few litres of oil :D I vote for Essex too - maybe that's a plug-in memory card ;)

I remember one company quoting me £7500 last year LOL Would you like to go ahead with the policy sir? LMFAO Sorry but someone beat your price by £6800 I said LOL A-Plan were the best for me at £850 ish FC on an import, full bodykit, big wheels, lots of mods declared, speeding points etc Tel: 0845 0711234 Very helpful and knowledgeable too But then I do live in an "Emmerdale farm postcode" as PaulG said the other day LMFAO :D
