  1. 1000? That's pathetic mate :D
  2. I'm fitting an oil pressure gauge and it comes with it's own sender. Where/how do I fit it? I presume I need to drill into an oil channel somewhere? Chris.
  3. My springs had sagged by about an inch and one of the rear ones was even worse, meaning the car didn't sit level. I fitted Blitz lowering springs with Koni's and it doesn't really look any lower than it did but it certainly handles 10 times better. Definately makes the car look a lot better than stock UK Z's I've seen too. So if you fit stock springs your car will probably be an inch or so higher than it is now!
  4. The reason Jap rubber is a different compound is because they have a different road surface and temperatures to here. Their tyres are great on their roads but if you took UK tyres out there you would probably find they gave strange results. If you live somewhere warm and dry then you don't need tyres suited to cold wet roads.
  5. I would be very careful if I were you! I have fitted boost jets to about 12 Z's and I have never used less than 1mm jets. 0.8mm is going to give just what you are getting - 17 to 18psi! This is way too high as you shouldn't be going past about 15psi on your setup. Get them changed to 1mm or bigger. Better still, get a controller. You certainly need to be using Optimax and take it easy before detonation kills a piston! Chris.
  6. Why were we not given this information before we got a server from this man? :o

Are you talking about the IAA unit and air regulator? ;) Chris.

Well the original Greddy is about £700 from the U.S or Z Centre do a copy (which I have) called the Scarab and it's only about £280 I think. Stillen is made of nice flexy stuff instead of fibreglass but at about £650 you can replace your Scarab if you ever do destroy it (unlikely). Also fibreglass is easy to repair but I'm not sure what you'd do if you did damage a Stillen...
  13. Mine did that and it was just the 2 inch long piece of hose that joins it underneath. Take it off and replace the bits of fuel hose, only costs a couple of quid. It could be a faulty regulator but the pipe below is metal and part of the fuel rail so it won't be that. I found out the hard way after my local shite garage replaced the regulator (£85 ish I think!) and still fitted the same old split hose! Chris.
  14. Paul C, Paul G and Elmo are mechanics! ;) I always see Mr G Pants with Elmo! Now I know why :D So who are the builders then? Does anyone with a builders arse count? :D Come on, own up if you drive it up the marmite motorway?

  16. LMFAO! :D Right, the result you've all been waiting for... ;) I'm 43% gay! I quote: "Congratulations, You've scored right in the middle and are a happy and well adjusted hetero man!"   And with the number of hot chicks I've got on the go right now you can shove your ideas up your arse! (if you ARE gay!)
  17. I thought it had flames on it until I realised it's the crap paint job that's flaked off to reveal the original Delboy yellow underneath :D
  18. I never knew you could buy Azevs in sets of 3.
  19. It'll look the dogs when he gets those Blitz alloys on it He can sell the fourth one and buy some fluffy dice! :D
  20. I don't see that this can be because they have been discovered using Mac's, just that they have found somebody they regard as a security risk. After all Microsoft have been developing Office products etc for Mac's for years. Hardly suprise news! Chris.
  21. Yes it disconnects the aircon compressor so you will get more mpg but as far as performance goes when you boot it the ECU switches it off anyway to give you some extra power! If you have a Jap Auto you will notice the Power light also comes on on the the dash while it's doing it. If you find your car is steaming up with it switched off then you must have a lot of damp in the car. Leave the windows down on a warm day and it should eventually clear. Having the aircon on will always clear your windscreen in super quick time because it dehumidifies the air so you are not blowing more damp air at the screen. Chris.
  22. Well they would because they are the same!
  23. I'm sure they are the same... The Jap one does have Power/Hold modes but they are controlled by the Auto ECU aren't they?
  24. Mine didn't come in a tin, just a poly bag ;)
