  1. Found in my Z: Japanese coins under seat :D Japanese McDonalds voucher for a free burger  (Anyone going to Japan let me know and I'll send 'em to ya!)
  2. I havent looked at the instructions in over a year but I think it said you have to be doing 30mph or something so you might have sorted it. Have you got the manual? Mine is buried in the garage somewhere. I got the harness from Grasshopper, I think it was about £30 which is a con for 3 or 4 lengths of wire and a connector.
  3. You lot are :xxx: 's :mac1:

The auto box just uses pressure from the system to push the fluid round so it must be for the UK diff.
  5. You just reminded me. When I cancelled NTL to move house they arranged to come collect the set top box. I waited in 2 saturdays between 10 and 2pm for them and they never turned up or called as they said they would. If they ring again I'm telling them i'm keeping the box!
  6. My dad was based there in the army during the British occupation period but I don't have a clue what it was all about really  He was in Northern Ireland before that so had to be an improvement.
  7. Not another Duff MOT Certificate?!

I found I had to use certain brands of DVD/CD-RW/CD-R's in my Sony and there's a list of what will and won't work on a site here: http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers Very usefull site for all things dodgy with DVD's :D
  9. Mine should pass at the end of the month if the engine is back in. It was MOT'd last December and only drove to the GPS open day before it went off the road for a year LOL If it fails I'll be amazed!
  10. NTL replaced my box 5 times before they finally realised the fault wasn't in the house but at the cabinet down the road! I told them it couldn't be the box after the second visit! They did eventually get it sorted but I still had to reboot the thing every couple of days. Their customer service line is terrible too. It's only open up to 8pm weekdays and nothing at the weekend. When do you watch TV most? Probably after about 7pm and at the weekend FFS! I had 3 weekends without TV.
  11. Andy, I didn't think they'd be so helpful! I've got a private H plate now anyway but it would be nice to have a J for when I sell it. Does a year really matter though when it's 12 years old lol Might see if I could get a better J plate though and sell mine on. I'll try to send you my chassis number for you to look up if you don't mind Andy?
  12. I had the same problem before my engine exploded. I don't think the 2 were related! ;) Have you got a speed convertor? I heard it needed wiring in "the other side of the convertor" wherever that might be! Never got chance to sort it before it went tits up!
  13. Well because we have the letters to show the year and they don't start in January the DVLA can only go to the nearest year below when they think it was made. I was told my Jap Z was a late '91 or early '92 so probable J reg but because they didn't know the exact month it had to go on a H plate. Chris.
  14. Not going over about 3000 revs sounds like a faulty air meter. Do a search on MAF or MAS. It could also be a PTU fault but the revs thing points to an air problem as the car goes into a safety "get home" mode when there's a fault with it. Chris.
  15.

500bhp :D Nice! From the seller name it looks like it's near me.
  17. LMFAO! Chris - can't pull, will pay for women, but has a huge pecker and can use it too. Well one of those is not true but I'm saying no more! I've got a first date this weekend with: Emma - Gullible and easily swayed by a good looker! Looks like i'm in for a good time LOL
  18. Is it just me that can't stand those rear lights that are appearing on every standard hatch? LOL I liked the Lexus ones but it's gone waaaay too far!
  19. I thought it must be but on my Blitz SBC it has a solenoid box the size of half a brick lol
  20. What's that gadget with the blue pipes fixed to Tony's battery? Boost controller?
  21. I suppose you have to be in the military to get training on weapons like that
  22. I have had both problems, a faulty speed sensor then a wrongly fitted speed convertor! When the speed convertor was fitted by the dealer i got the car from, they put it near the ECU and I got exactly the problems you are describing. When I got my silver dials fitted by Luke he also installed one of his speed convertors and I've had not problems. So... If your sensor is OK and we know Lukes convertors work... somebody hasn't fitted it right! I'd give Luke a call if I were you.
  23. The spec for the fluid is Dexron II type. You don't need to bleed it as such but fill it up and do a couple of turns lock to lock then check it again and top up. Hose leaks are pretty common on these cars :(
  24. I always fancied one of these too if anyone knows where you can buy 'em. Just for the gadget factor ;)
  25. You can do the HICAS diagnostic to see the wheels move and check all is well. Do a search.
