  1. I've got the SE ones and they are blanked off. Seems stupid that they go right through on the Greddy ones.
  2. I don't know how your speed sensor manages to pop out. I'm sure it's held in with a screw or 2. They do wear out and I think they are about £60 or something silly from Nissan.
  3. Use Autoglym Bumper Care on your plastic/rubber trim and it'll look like new. Brings off the white powdery look that it gets over the years and it doesn't leave that horrible sticky/slippery goo that you get with the silicone stuff like Back to Black etc. Worked wonders on mine and I know a few others here have had great results with it too.
  4. Stu, I'm just waiting for a load of bits from Z1 at the moment. Did it come with all the fittings? I'm thinking of using my current Jap engine cooler for the new manual box and getting a bigger one for the engine oil. I've got a Howe rad on the way and a few other goodies ;)
  5. Where did you get the oil cooler matey? I need one myself.
  6. Get a pair of Smithy's fantastic looking new Chromed Blowers: Double-insulated - does not get hot to the touch. 2 speed settings. Highly durable. Heavy duty, long-life motor. Cool shot button for extra power. and... only $64 each! Baaaargin!
  7. Am I the only one who's finding it hard to work out whether you're here, there or where. Coming, going...? LOL Are you from Ripon then? I'm just down the road from you.
  8. Full beam is a pain and you might have to take off a pipe or 2 to get to it if I remember rightly. Fogs are easy once you learn how. Unscrew the indicators/blanking plates and reach behind the fog light and unscrew 3 or 4 nuts on the back then slide the fog out.
  9. I'm pretty sure the tyres aren't legal too but I'm not sure if the MOT will spot that. I think they have to have the "E" mark or something. Chances are you'll be changing them pretty quick anyway but I think the Police and Insurance could mess you about if you had an accident...
  10. I will be at Billing even if i have to use all my holidays up to fix the bloody thing in time. Got to fit my 555's and then "just drop it back in" LOL It's been off the road since about Feb 2003
  11. No, engine mounts now :(
  12. I don't know of any mate ;)
  13. Been a while since I've said hello.   Before you ask... still waiting for parts! LOL

The lever has a bend in it and will go on either way round :( So looks like it's been put on the wrong way! I asked about this a while ago but I haven't fitted mine yet. Chris.
  15. Nissan want almost £240 for a pair of shitty rubber mounts which is an absolute joke! I've seen some poly ones on an Australian site which are cheaper but does anyone know if there are any alternative uprated ones available here? Tried MJP but no luck. Cheers, Chris.
  16. You just use the handbrake wire. Leaving it in drive with the turbo timer on would be very silly. Do you always leave it in drive and jump out of the car with the engine running?!!?
  17. Hey you might be able to borrow Big Roy's little number ;)
  18. Are you lot taking the peas?!
  19. No that's nothing like the Nissan one :( http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=25070-00001&Category_Code=
  20. I got my decat pipes from a NA owner who said the car was way too loud with them on... Turbo's cut out a bit of the noise.
  21. LMAO :D I just measured mine at 5.5 inches, which I have been told is quite adequate to satisfy any Fairlady ;) I lost a pet rabbit shortly after fitting these :(
  22. You will need the 4 big mounting bolts from the Skyline too. The Z ones are too short.
  23. There's some bits I wouldn't replace with anything other than the stock parts because of the work involved/damage if it fails...
  24. There's not much about in Leeds. Some good places in Manchester that are worth traveling to. What's up with your Z? I'm between Harrogate and Leeds if you need some advice. Chris.
  25. LMAO :p :duffer:
