  1. Someone build the enigne for me. Me and a friend installed the engine. The upgrades I did was: Z1 ultimate engine rebuild kit 300 degree fuel rail with new style 555cc injectors Gt600r turbos Doolz Z1 chip for 555cc and doolz New ecu wire loom Downpipe/testpipe EGR/AIV/PRVR delete plenum pull and water delete new timing belt HKS BOV and hardpipes thing thats about it - engine wise. Any idea why I can't connect to the diagnostic program blatz? Worked fine when I used it on my part car (300zx TT) Is the reading from the boost controller right? 90-92% on the injector??
  2. I have had the engine out of the car. installed the usually rods and so on. (z1 engine kit) and gt600r turbos. I have removed the egr, aiv, carbon canister and prvr and plenum/water bypass. The car is reaally rough on idle when we started it for the first time. And I mean realy rough. And there is alot of blue/black smoke comming out of the exhaust. The apexi boost controller showed the injector at 90-92 % at idle?? When I tapped the accelerator it dropped to around 60-70%?? Seemed a bit strange to me?? Tried unpluging some of the electric connectors on some of the coils but there is to much noise from axhaust and engine to hear any diffrence. For some reason I can't connect with the computer with the blazt diagnostic program?? Any pionters on where to start?
  3. Was going to fill new coolant on the new engine when we discovered that there was a water leak from back of the engine just above the left turbo. I got trouble seeing anything frome where it might come from? It seems to be from somewhere above the downpipe with the turbo?? help apriciated:)
  4. Anyone know what the NISSAN part number for the lower (small ones on the injector) o-ring on the injector is?
  5. Not the blue one. There is also a white one. Thats the one he needs to remove wires on.. That's the one I removed beacuse I could not get it through the hole if not. The ecu connector goes through the hole if you push it in from the top of the hole and down. Just be carefull so you don't cut any of the wires because the edges around the hole can be a bit sharp. Could provide pictures, but something went wrong when renewing my membership and I haven't bothered to look into it. Not difficult. First time I did it and it took a about 1 hour
  6. It's the engine loom we are talking about? If soo. Since the engine is out you can just cut the old loom in half. That way you can just pull the rest out from inside the car. NEW ONE Take a small flat screw driver and remove the wire clips from the white connector thing that goes inside the car. Remeber to take a picture so you know where the wires are supposed to go when reinstalling. Tape the wires that came loose to the wire. It's a bit fiddling to get the loom trough the hole.. Took me about an hour to replace when the engine was out. It's best to be two people when doing this so one can pull from inside the car and one can puch the new loom in from the engine bay..

  13. I am looking for a fuel pressure gauge to have in the 'cockpit'. If possible a smoke serie (You know, black when it's not on). Mechanical would need a fuel line to the inside?? What would you recomend? I've been looking at some fuel pressure regulators on ebay.. The ones that there is a gauge on and you can adjust the pressure on. is it worth it? I would need to remove the OEM fuel pressure then, right?

  16. I'm trying to install a stillen short shifter... I might have a problem. Half of the rubber piece from the part called "shifter support plate" sits on top of the stillen assembly.. Is it supposed to be like that? A bit difficult to explain but there are some pictures on 300zxclub.com. It seems like I can't post any pictures here anymore or PM.   18. I went with GT600R. You can get them at 300zxclub.com store with downpipes for around 2645 dollars. Gasket and all included. They also got a group buy on GT675RS with downpipes for 2745 dollars. but not as quick spool up.. You need to buy gasket +++ for the JWT 530

  20. OK, thanks:) Got more info here than I did from Z1... Z1 haven't got anything from ACL. So I'll jut go for he grade 3 and let the workshop do their magic with the rod bearing... Thanks again:D
  21. I gave Z1 the grades: Rod bearing 111111 Main Bearing: 2211 Engine Block: 2212 Those are the numbers right of the engine parts. Told that to Z1 also since I wasn't sure on how to find the correct grade. I got the a mail back saying: The bearing grades that you provided for the rods cannot be used, because you are using different rods. I can send you all grade 3's and they can machine them to the proper size. And my friend at the workshop asked what the measurements on the rods should be?
  22. Got a mail from Z1. But they where a bit short on info... Just said since I was using eagle rod then the rod bearing grade I gave them couldn't be used and they suggested grade 3 and that the workshop could manchine them down. But how do the machine shop know what size the rods should be?

  24. I've got a 1990 TT. What EFI harness do I need if I am buying the new style 555cc from nismo? can buy the harness for a 95+ and use that on my 90 model?
