I measured the pipework on the greddy today and its just over 3" as well as the air filter adaptor..Compared to the Doolz which is only 2.5" the same as the standard pipework in the engine bay. Now i would of thought the 3" would be alot better advantage over the 2.5"?? Or is it because the Doolz joins in the middle does that throw everything out of the window?

Hi smithy the z1 doolz I have hasn't got a maf sensor built in. But I'm just wondering which setup I would gain better results from. Cheers Dan

I see now :) I was thinking about extending the extension as well so the air filters sit at the openings of my bumper. But i was under the impression that you need more direct air flow rather than extending the pipe work loosing air temps and maybe pressure?? Are you also going for the bigger throttle bodies? You have the same FMIC but the 2 row by the looks of it :)

Ok i see so what air filters will you be using? Also are you doing the 2.5" pipework and intercooler set up to match?

Im going for the Map sensor route so wont be using a Maf are the Greddy airnex made for the 350z? Jaikai ill will be selling once i know what im going to use so ill keep you posted Cheers

Hi all, Ive got various air filter setups that im not sure would be best to use. Ive got the twin pop version that came with my Greddy FMIC that sit in the normal location. http://www.z1motorsports.com/popup_image.php?pID=830&osCsid=2540b425b689fc4ee1c09895686c12cc&imageNum=1 And then ive got the Doolz system by Z1 that will also sit in the normal location but both air pipes join compaired to the twin pop http://www.ashspecz.com/ashspec/doolz/doolz.htm I then went and bought the Doolz extensions that extend the air filters out behind the bumber roughly in the location of the air ducts in my bumper. I have 2 sets of the rear hubs and the bushes on all of them are the same. Bit confused now but i would like to change them anyway

I do love the grids as well and found it very hard to make the decision. In the end I went for the Gtrd which is the same as the gtr just with a dish instead of a concave. Love to see a zed on grids :)
