is it 3.692 or 4.083 at final drive? its also asking for a primary ratio? Also what is the diff ratio for a TT diff with Leader gears? Thanks Dan

Hi has anyoe had any experience with AEM software? I can link up with the ECU with my laptop now but i cant find the map that was ment to be saved on the ECU. What do i do to find it? Or has anyone got a map i can use to start the car? Thanks Dan

Funny you say that thats how they was ment to be..But after waiting 8 months for them and then getting told the polished lip version has been discontinued i had no choice. Been quoted £140 to polish the lips that i might do at a later date.

Strictly a no smoking in that car haha

Hi all, Another problem i came across today is that my newly installed boost controller has stopped working. I bought it a few years back but have only recently installed it. It was installed a few weeks back and was coming on and working fine. Its power supply is fed from the ECU harness but after doing a few more soldering and wiring to various other parts on the dash it has seemed to have lost power. Does anyone know if they have an inline fuse anywhere? or does the ECU harness is fused? im hoping its either a fuse or a cable fault somewhere from when my mate has been doing other wiring. Any ideas?

Ok people before i do this i thought id run it past you guys and see what you think? Im running a stand alone ECU that uses a MAP sensor instead of a MAF. In my build ive had to make custom pipe work up to and from the turbos! The plastic air filter inlet has a pipe where you normally connect the idle control pipe to....Instead of going to the trouble of drilling, cutting and welding an adaptor to my new pipework im thinking of just running a little oil filter to the inlet of the idle control valve. The air drawn in will still be filtered and the valve will still be able to function the same as before. Im sure the AEM ecu doesnt need as much data signals bla bla as the standard ecu requires to run it. What do you think??

£800 is alot of money for what it is but i do like it. I would spend the money else where first.

I had the same problem last year and they tried every way possible to get out of it. in the end thye came up with a crazy quote for nearly 5k to replace both front and back screens. They then tried writing the zed off. I told them to shove it and bought 2nd hnad screens for about 60 quid in the end.
