Thanks mate ill let you know how i get on i will hopefully have it sorted by then. I just noticed in other pics on Google that the loom for coil pack 6 runs over the plenum and not though the middle under the cover like the rest. YTS cheers for the info ill have a look in a bit

Huge loom problem
Hi none of the loom is snagged.. It fits in places perfect along the front connecting to the water temp sensors, PTU, CAS & Throttle position sensor. Ive then ran it tight to the plenum to where the loom splits off into 3 different looms. The shorter loom that dont reach has 4 & 6 written on the connector which im guessing is the coil packs and they are way to short...I think the other plugs on that part of the loom then connect to the idle control that are in the perfect position. The other longer looms seem to make up the rest needed for the coil packs and injectors. Part of the longer loom i guess also reaches over to the otherside to connect to the solenoids and VTC. None of the plugs are marked up so i havent a clue really :(

Huge loom problem
Hi all, Im having alot of trouble trying to work out where and how the loom fits? The crap diagram in the workshop manual is as much use as an ash tray on a motorbike. The only plugs marked up seem to be coil pack 2,4 & 6. 4 & 6 seem way to short and wont extend long enough to go under the plenum cover to the coil packs. All of the other plugs are not marked up! And it seems that some of the plugs are the same to fit other fittings so telling them apart isnt easy. Can anyone help here with pics or any knowedge as im ready to bash my head on a wall.:headvswal Cheers Dan

wire tuck
Dam i think ill leave it for now then :( Ill make sure everything is running perfect first. I want it looking as good as yours Andy :) Also i noticed you have bonnet latches..Did you have to make brackets under the bonnet so the pins reach? Thanks Dan

wire tuck
Hi all, I'm in the process of connecting the new loom to the engine and I'm trying to hide as much as possible. Do you have to remove the plenum the hide the cables to the coil packs and injectors? Thanks Dan

Hard pipes/loom
Thanks everyone the pics and the links have helped alot :) Im still in need of a good pick of the loom location if poss? Im not sure how to attach it to the plenum yet.

Hard pipes/loom
Its the standard pipes I can't see any pics at mo as I'm in a bad reception area. I think the resircs attach to the pipes and I've got 2 smaller L shaped ones too. thanks Dan

Hard pipes/loom
Hi all, Has anyone got any pics or diagrams on how the metal hardpipes fit? Ive got the intercooler and throttle body pipes in place but im having trouble figuring out how the air filter pipes fit from the bay to the filter location. Also does anyone have a pic of how the loom sits and fits along the passinger side of the engine? im guessing it attachies along the plenum? Thanks Dan

Loom connectors
Hi all, Ive got a brand new loom to connect to the engine but my injector plugs on my loom are the older type pre 93. As ive got the new type injectors installed im going to have to change the connector plugs. Ive been told i can change the connectors over without having to cut and solder the newer type on. Is this true? Has anyone done this before? Cheers Dan
