  1. Cheers bud, What about the oil line that comes out of the oil tree?
  2. Cutting a long story short i fitted an oil line from the rear of the oil tree to use for the oil pressure and temp sensor for my digi dash. Only untill now when im getting to the stages of trying to fit the gearbox ive noticed that the oil line might be in the way? What do you think? Does the starter motor butt up agaist the block? Also the sandwich plate looks close as well. Cheers Dan

  10. Thanks for the info guys! Im putting everything back together from the rebuild that started years ago. Ive got a few more questions? Will i need to tilt or get the engine in a certain position? Will i need to undo the engine mount nuts? Ive got a 1 piece prop now so will the diff need to be fitted last to allow the prob to fit in place? A mechanic also said i might have to fit the gearbox with the prob attached because once the gearbox is in place it would be positioned so that the prob wont fit on to the gearbox? Apparently its like that with the 200sx Glad its possible to be fitted with normal axle stands as i was thinking id maybe have to find some lorry axle stands or something. EGR has been removed so thats a good start i guess. Im going to try it myself and this is going to be a first. Im thinking of laying on the floor with the gearbox on my chest and using my legs and arms to get it in place. Any other tips would be great! Cheers Dan
  11. Hi all, Can anyone give me an idea in how hard it is to fit the clutch and gearbox with the engine already in place? I dont want to be removing the engine again as i heard this is the better way. Is it possible if i get the car high enough in the air? Thanks Dan

  14. In the drivers side foot well beside the accelerator pedal you will see a small panel that you pop off. The fuses will be in front of you and the relays are on the back of the fuse board. On the back of the panel will have the functions of the fuses. Under the bonnet there is a black box to the right handside of the engine bay that has the functions stamped on the front of the black box. Also there is a small fuse relay box on the drivers side under the bonnet located just under the front window screen

  16. They are brand new and only been pushed in. Im guessing something has happend since i had some welding work done to the hubs :(
  17. Hi ive recently had new ball joints fitted. when i fitted the hubs and fitted the new arms i noticed that the joints move around very easily. Is this correct or are they supposed to be stiff to stop the rear wheel from moving? Thanks Dan
  18. I know that car i see it nearly every day when im at work. Such a nice colour and not seen anyother GTRs that colour. Its in a very upmarket area near Oxford st shows you that scum are every where these days.
  19. I found that mine was due to dry joints on the circuit board on the back of the clocks, One way to find out is to spray WD40 in the joints it worked for me. That or speed sensor in the gearbox is also a common fault.
