  1. j The reason I'm asking people what its like because I've yet to drive mine. And thought it would be a idea to ask people with high bhp of there experiences with that sort of power before making the rear lighter and possible worse to drive. Lots of people have more knowledge and experience than me on here so thought I'd take advantage before I make an expensive mistake!
  2. I like your thinking...The very first drifting play school bus lol
  3. As for fast road every day driving do you think the weight loss would cause problems? Also heavy cornering etc
  4. Thanks for your replys and useful info :) Would love to join you but the Zed isnt finished yet...But hopefully when its finished id like to track the car as well. At the moment thats the biggest tyre i could get without arch mods. But i have been thinking about either going wide arch or flaring the arches but ill wait untill the car is finished and see how it goes from there. Thanks Dan
  5. Great stuff can send the link to my email if its any easier? Dgbsn06@googlemail.com Thanks Dan

  7. I could make up stencils with diameters etc if that helps
  8. Hi all, With a number of high powered Zeds on the forum im wondering if you can give me some sort of idea in what im going to expect trying to get the car off the line quickly say at a 0.60 sprint or pulling out a junction quickly. Also how they handle when laying down the power though the gears? Im wanting to replace the hatch with a Carbon one hopefully! Im just thinking what extra problems it could give me being so much lighter at the rear as the hatch is so heavy and is practicly the whole rear of the car. Im guessing cornering will be an issue too. I think ive bought every uprated mod possible to gain the extra traction but not sure once taking the weight away if they would be much use? What do you think? Im hoping to achieve around 550-600@ the fly. Thanks Dan
  9. It balances the air flow before the plenum because apprently with a FMIC one bank runs richer than the other due to the setup of the intercooler and pipework being different. Anthony sorry it totally slipped my mind. Im paid £29.09 delivered. I will be in need of more pipework soon. Thanks Dan
  10. If not I can help as I have the same setup
  11. Thanks for your replys ill bolt them up and see what happens. Thanks
  12. Hi all, Ive taken a video so hopefully someone can tell me if my new ball joints are fooked or not? Basicly they are brand new and was really stiff..But after taking the hubs to the welders to get them adapted to fit my calipers they came back like what you can see if the video. There is resistance when moving them but nothing like they was when they was originally fitted. Imn guessing the heat of the welding has loosened them up. What do you think? Thanks Dan http://s730.photobucket.com/albums/ww308/baglady000/?action=view&current=VIDEO0073.mp4
  13. I agree i didnt want a dash full of guages either so opted for the digi dash and 2 aem guages that display all the readings from the ecu. Interesting project 1 to watch.
  14. Thanks smithy that's what I ordered 63mm with a 25mm outlet. Your correct the pipe is the all the same diameter its just the the reducer that makes them fit. Thanks for the info ill let you know how I get on. Thanks Dan
  15. Hi Smithy thanks for your reply...Im hoping im going to be able to find away as like you say its going to be very tight between the throttle body and the BOV. Hopefully when they arrive i can work something out. One thing i was thinking of is maybe marking up on the hard pipe where the T piece will sit and drill a 25mm hole in the same location so i wont loose the beed on the hard pipe. Or trimming down the longer end so it will move the BOVs down allowing more room at the throttle body end. Cheers Dan
  16. Im guessing it goes from a 51 to 61 on a standard throttle body.? Anyone else?
  17. Hi, Hi does anyone know the diameter of the pipework to the throttle bodys? I cant remember if its 50mm 65mm. Im going to buy silicone T pieces so i can install a balance pipe. Also has anyone also installed reducers since installing the Z1s larger throttle bodies? If so what diameter did you use as the stock hoses are very hard to put on. These are the pipes im talking about: http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_18&products_id=3377 T pieces http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Silicone-pipe-T-piece-tube-take-off-induction-51mm-BLUE-/120545045954?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c110b6dc2 Thanks Dan
  18. Hi, Been searching in my pot of many bolts and come across these. Are these the correct ones to bolt the gear lever side of the gearbox to the chassis. The thread is correct and after shining a torch in the bolt holes there isnt much thread making me think these are perfect. Bolts measure 25mm in length: Thanks Dan
  19. Thanks for your reply. That pipe has been replaced with a larger diameter metal pipe as in the pic. Ill have to try and adapt the pipe leading to the turbo instead. Thinking of using these http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Search.do?method=delegate&n=1773&p=243525&s=hose+take+off or http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Search.do?method=delegate&n=1661&p=243546&s=hose+take+off
  20. Hi all, As ive changed all my pipe work...by memory im guessing the PCV pipe coming off the cam cover needs to connect to this pipe in the pic? Am i correct? Also do i need anyother connectors to make this pipework work? Thanks Dan
  21. Dont think he has been online? Had no replys to my pm's or recieved anything after paying for some parts. Has anyone got a contact number for him?
