  1. Hi, Has anyone else found it hard to bolt the diff to the subframe after fitting Energy suspension bushes. I can't get the diff to align with the bolt holes.(bracket end) For 2 nights now trying different ways. The bushes sit against the diff on the rear. I'm guessing this is the problem as it makes the diff sit about 3-5mm to far forward to allow me to bolt the bracket to the subframe. Really starting to piss me off as its not an easy job getting it in place and messing around with it. Any ideas? Thanks Dan
  2. I bet its pikeys too just nicking it for scrap. The latest they are doing around here is drain hole covers and earthing straps. And they wonder why no one wants them.
  3. Well this is the decision I can't make at the moment I think I will need to do some more research in to the pros and cons. I've got the Greg Dupree 3" decats but not sure if to decrease down to 2.5" after as I've read others have done in there builds.
  4. I've got the 5 bolt 3" down pipes and heard I needed to notch the pipe to allow the steering wheel rod to pass. Before I fitted the gearbox it looked very close so I had the work done. Now since fitting the gearbox that secures the engine in position. My down pipe didn't need no work at all just kooks like its going to be a mission to get the starter motor to fit. It might be that my Greg Dupree manifolds sit the turbo in a slightly different position.
  5. Hi bud, I can't find then on their site :(
  6. They look great where did you get them from?
  7. What a mess. Some people just don't have a clue. I like some body kits but they take the piss lol
  8. I hope not as I've got the R's fitted but not driven on them yet. But having any adjustable suspension over stock is better than OEM.
  9. I'm wondering how my setup will pan out using a quaife atb diff combined with 4.10 leader gears. I've heard the leader gears are similar to the n/a gear ratio. Hopeing the quaife will also able to add more traction.
  10. I've got atleast 1000 snaps taken though the build
  11. Aem are very good quality and worth the extra pennies I think
  12. Does that include the r33 gearbox I know someone with a sequential box for sale.
  13. I quite like it too but would like a pic of the whole car with it on
  14. Hi does anyone know the length of the starter motor bolt as I don't want to fit 1 that is to long and it ends up touching the flywheel. Or does anyone have a spare 1 kicking around? Thanks Dan
  15. Hopefully all sorted now
  16. Various wire brushes and brush bits for the drill to clean the rust off. A good decreaser spray. Etch primer and what ever paint you require should do the job.
  17. Hi, Does anyone know dougal200 or have his contact details? Don't think he has been on the site for a while but I need to talk to him about parts I've paid for. Thanks Dan
  18. Hi all, Has anyone relocated the battery to the boot? If so what guage cables did you use? I understand the longer the distance the bigger the guage should be. Also how many cables did you run to what locations etc. Thanks Dan
  19. Funny you say that I started relocating the battery to the boot last night. Im going to mount it beside the passenger rear wheel. Practically in the same position as the abs unit adjacent. Cheers Dan
  20. AEM does have this feature but ive also got the RLC fitted and plan to use it when needed.
  21. Fitted the gearbox and diff last week..got there in the end
  22. Thanks for your info..a mate of mine works for a motorsport company and had already said about setting it up for me when finished.
