  1. Ok im hoping some wheel experts can help me here. Since June i placed an order for some wheels being Front 245/40/18 9.5j et25, Rear 265/35/18 10j et35 knowing i would maybe have to do some minor arch work. After many problems with the company im still waiting for the wheels as they still havent been shipped in to the country. The company have now offered me the same wheels with the same offset but in 19" Would they still fit? would i have to change the tyre profiles? I think 19" would look better in the arch but they will also make the brakes look smaller and also a bit heavier so im not sure what to do. Any ideas?
  2. Hi everyone, Im trying to get a few parts sorted before ill have a big push at getting the Zed finished. Ive got front Powertrix adjustable Tension rods but some how lost 2 out of the 4 bolts that bolt the Tension arm to the lower arm. Does anyone know what type bolt i need and pitch of the thread etc so i can fit them safely? Thanks Dan

Im trying to swap my week with someone else but if all fails im no doubt going to be called out all day Sat knowing my luck. Im very greatful for everyone willing to help and now i feel like im letting you all down as your all giving up your free time. 7. Ok SOS team ive been racking my brains trying to remember what parts i have and havent got to complete parts of the car without having to then take it all off again to fit parts i havent got yet if that makes sense? Here goes.... Engine. 1. Remove the engine from the bay and fit to engine stand. 2. Remove TT power steering pump and fit N/A pump with TT lightened pulley. 3. Remove drivers side down pipe so it can be modded to fit round the steering shaft. 4. Fit new wideband sensors. 5. Blank off pcv valve openings with core plugs. 6. Relocate battery to the boot. 7. Remove crank pulley as i cant remember if there is ment to be a spacer between the casing and the pulley or if i fitted it already ?? Electrical. 1. Locate ignition live and solder power wires and earthing points for L.C.D dash and guages. 2. Extend dash sensor wires and route to engine bay. 3. Solder newer type injector plugs to new loom. 4. Find power and earthing points for the in built Sat-nav. 5. Wire loom for traction control. 6. Wire in ignition button. 7. Wire L.E.D indicators. 8. Wire Granada mirrors to loom. Suspension. 1. Fit new hub to passinger side with new hub nut. 2. Torque up suspension parts to correct settings. 3. Fit Hicas arms to lock out bar. Other. Remove petrol tank and fit new type fuel sensor. I have plenty more that can be done but these are more priority at the moment! Once the down pipe is modded the engine can be fitted and then everything in the bay can be plumbed in and installed ie. Rad, Intercooler etc etc. Which would be a great relief I need to buy a few more parts as they are stopping me from completing major parts of the build like coilovers and brake pads once i have the coilovers the suspension set-up is complete and with the pads all the calipers can be fitted. I realize not all the above will be able to be done on the 9th but any help would be great and im looking forward to meeting you all. Thanks Dan
  8. ACL bearings are around £150 if i remember right! ideal replacement bearings if you dont go for genuine Nissans

  16. Hi Craig thanks i glad you like the Zed nothing is wrong with the car its mainly alot of hours putting it all back together everything is new or restored
  17. Zedaholics sounds great ill hold the first meeting at mine cups of tea in 1 hand and a spanner in the other haha. S13silvia my car was fine it just turned in to a project as i fell in to a whirlwind of restoration and modded parts that just got addictive i guess.
  18. As some of your may know ive been restoring and modifying the Zed for about 3 years now and a lot has been done i cant imagine how many hours has been spent working on the car making sure everything is done at its best. The car still seems like it needs alot of work to be complete but im finding it hard to find the time and enthusiasm to work on it lately. As im no mechanic or in the car trade at all working on the car has been one long learning process. Hitting wall after wall of complications with the modifications has taken its toll and im not sure if to carry on or give up. I know i would regret selling up and not finishing the car as ive put so much effort and money in to the car. But im not sure if reality is kicking in and realizing i may not ever finish the car at the rate im going its just going to be one big money pit that never gets finished. What would you do?
  19. Sard are a top brand and im sure they make the Nismo injectors anyway. Ive heard good things about the ebay seller too. Im guessing they are for a late spec zed
  20. I need a mini work force to complete the Zed lol. Sounds like we need a Zed surport team to get us though this haha
  21. Cheers mate im determined to finisher her just bite to much off than i can chew and changing my ideas on what i want including parts dont help lol. Id say ive got 95% of the parts its just the know how i need now to fit and mod the parts. Fingers crossed ill get the drive to finisher it soon.
