Hi, Tonight i was working around and behind the dash and when i pulled a few wires out by the gear lever i found a Japanese coin taped to the body of the car. Has anyone else come across this or know why they would of done that? Im guessing its some sort of good luck charm and will be sticking it back tomorrow. Just thought id see if anyone else has simular stories?

Thanks for your replys it is a one off to my design! Im hoping to have the zed finished this year but its all down to money at the moment. Ive just ordered my wheels and tyres the next thing is buying the window rubbers at there rip off prices.

Hi, Some of you might know im rebuilding my Zed from the ground up either replacing or restoring practicly everything. Here is a few things ive been doing apart from work on the Engine and suspension. The pictures really dont show the quality of the carbon parts. Ive got the pods and clock surround to come.

Hi has anyone had any experience with these tyres I'm getting mixed reviews some people rate them highly but others like on the evo forum complain of weak side walls. Gone off the idea of 888s and the new yoko advan ad08 as they are to soft. I'm after an all round tyre good for road and the odd track day maybe. Any ideas? Thanks Dan

Thanks Legrath im just worried about the fronts catching my calipers as i know Jimmytt had to fit a 2mm spacer to clear. So confused! Im hoping the curved spokes may give me abit more clearence

Hi im in need of some help here before i buy. The wheels i want only come in a 9.5 and a 10! I want to fit a 9.5 on the front and a 10 on the rear. My choices of offset for the front is either et12 or et25. Im going to have the arches rolled, Would it be best to go with either a et25 and hope the spokes clear my Brembos or go for a et12 and go for a spacer. They do the 10 in either et12 et25 or et35. They have advised for an et35 does this sound right? I want the wheels to fit flush as poss with the arch. I know im going to need a stretch on the tyres what size would you think would suit to fit? Hi Guys, Can someone help me today? Ive down tools on the Zed for a few weeks now as i kept coming to problems after problems! But today i want to get cracking and get this problem out of the way:tongue_smilie: Could you kindley measure the distance from the back of the plenum to the bulkhead? and also state where abouts you measured from as this would be a great help. The reason being my down pipe is rubbing on the steering shaft and i need to get the engine correctly in place to mark the down pipe so it can be altered. I havent fitted the gearbox so im guessing the engine is either sitting back or sitting forward at the moment. Thanks Dan:euro:

great im not well up on the ET offsets. Do you know what offset you have on the rear? Also have you had the arches rolled? Agree with you on the staggered look :)

Thanks Baz i couldnt decide between the two for months! I know what you mean the wheels look crap without the curve dish. I would like to fit 10s on the rear but i think that maybe pushing it.

Hi everyone, Another wheel question :oops: Ive decided to go for Rota Grids but i want the deep dish on the front aswell as on the back. To get the deep dish im going to need to fit 9.5 on the front is this possible? Ive seen that Jimmytt has a et20 9.5 and the same on the rear so it looks possible. Does anyone know if any mods had to be done to fit the fronts? Ive sent Jimmy a PM but i dont think he has been on the site to reply and i would like to order tomorrow. Ive added pis to show the curve spokes i would like instead of flat Thanks Dan

Hi all, Im in need of new brake pads to fit my front 350z Brembos. Ive got Dba 5000 front discs. What pads have been proven to be ideal and more importantly best and cheapest place to buy them? It seems between Hawk Ferrodo 2500 Mintex Any others i may i missed? Cheers Dan
