What size tyres would you advise for 18s 235 front and 265 rear?? or 255 rear for a little stretch?

I would like a deep dish set of rims simular to yours ive had this problem on wheel choice for over a year! The problem is the split rims i like are way to pricey at the moment as ive got alot more to pay out to finish the build of the car. If i went for splits i would want the real thing no 1 piece wannabe's. I also like the Rota GTR/Grid style with the deep spokes which is the cheaper optsion at the moment. The problem i have now with the width of 8.5 front / 9.5 rear is im not sure if ill get the deep spoke look with the Rota's Heres a few ive been looking at and cheaper 1 piece fake splits.

Really :( Im going to get the arches rolled but nothing major whats the limit? Im after as wide as possible to gain as much grip. Thanks

Can any of you wheel experts help me?? Im after this stance on my zed and will hopefully be buying some new wheels soon eith Rota GTR or Grids seem to be my fav at the moment. Looks like engine out again :( can the gasket down pipe gasket be used again??

Hi all, Has anyone fitted the Greg dupree 3" expansion down pipes??? The reason being is after alot of hassel taking the engine in and out to make way for the actuators and various other problems over the weekend :angry: I finally got the engine in place to find that the steering wheel shaft rubs agaist the down pipe and bolt that connects the down pipe to the turbo. Has anyone else had this problem? Im hoping that once ive removed the heat wrap round the down pipe and fitted the gearbox and mount the engine will tilt futher forward and give me some clearence. Id rather not take the engine out again and start modding the down pipe to fit as i know this has been done to simular downpipes. Ive really had enough with this project its been one problem after another :angry: Thanks Dan

Thanks for coming down Mark was a great day and it was good to finally see your Zed its a true beast. After you left i deleted the PCV's and fitted all the belts and down pipes so im all set for fitting the engine once ive moved the car from the other unit :) Thanks once again no doubt ill be needing your expert help soon

Hi all, Hopefully after today when Silverbullet has came down to cast his expert eye over my engine build i can start finally fitting the engine at long last. Then im hoping to have the beast completed and out by July which would be nice as its been off the road for around 3 yrs. Fingers crossed Mark doesnt find anything that could set me back! Ill let you know how it goes with a few pics of the finished build if all goes to plan :yes:

Hahaha i done the same when i primered my calipers last week :) Im abit like you Stu! Ive got the spare room with my new interior seats/door cards and decat exhausts. And a box full of parts delivered that i havent managed to take down the workshop which is rammajammed with parts as well.

Hi all, Has anyone heard from or waiting for parts from Redbaron??? Ive not heard from him since the 7th of April and im still waiting for my strut brace to arrive. Has anyone seen or heard from him or know if he is ok? Im waiting for a few parts to be powder coated as well as the strut brace i bought off him. I need to let the guy know when im delivering the parts to him to be coated. Cheers Dan

Hi, Ive finally found a bung to fit the hole in the neck of my turbo what was originally drilled out to take an EGT sensor. The thing is its made out of Brass! Will this be ok and withstand the heat of the exhaust gases etc? Cheers Dan

Hi can anyone supply or tell me where i can buy a Lamda sensor bung and also an Egt bung? I was given a Egt bung to only find its the wrong size. The hole for the Egt is for a guage size sensor, The one ive got is for the manifold i think. Cheers Dan

Cheers for the info mate i didnt think of that! I bought the Greddy oil cooler kit for the Zed it didnt mension anything about the tree! But ill do that as id rather be safe than sorry. So ill just connect the feed straight to the sump?? P.s I like the new look rear lights

Hi, Can anyone tell me what this pipe is for? Its the one that connects to the sump. Im guessing its for the standard oil cooler if so i can block it off as i have my oil lines connected to my sandwhich plate. Cheers Dan
