  1. This is what the piping should look like: Intake to left turbo feeds the bottom and feeds the right throttle body (left side of engine) and vice versa.
  2. The twin inlet and outlet are because one turbo feeds the bottom, and the other feeds the top but the air flows the opposite way to each other as one pipework comes from the right and the other the left. What do you mean by single in and out pipes? Single Intake?
  3. Haven't checked the ecu yet Yeah you did, I could try but it might be knackered already.
  4. It is a blitz ecu, no paperwork for an aftermarket box ecu but I'll have a check to see if it's any different. I don't know if it's the ecu or the gearbox ecu which controls pressure, I have got another box ecu but I think it's too late now! I'm surprised too, even though you plugged in the manual boost controller the wrong way [emoji14] so it's probably over boosting, still don't think that can kill a box. I reckon I'll get the box swapped on my own and get someone to come help with all the gremlins that come with a manual conversion.
  5. Top be fair I haven't checked the ecu whatsoever as long as I've had it.
  6. Definitely the gear box. That's what I was thinking, how could my car destroy two gearboxes. I don't think it's that torquey to break two boxes....
  7. Yep, definitely the box, gone in neutral. You're have a long trip coming to pick me up lol. I can make it fine, It runs alright and boy does it still hold power, until it becomes more than an audible problem I'm going to try and enjoy it as much as possible. When I broke the last box my motto was; If its broken, I better drive it into the ground with a smile on my face rather than lock it away for years.
  8. Going through the gears is fine. It feels totally fine but at certain (low) rpms it starts grinding. Admittedly not as much as the last box and I still have all the gears. I gotta see how long I can last it, but im pretty sure I'll still go to the boxhill run. The fluid I think is ok, it wasn't smelling burnt, excessively hot or have smoke coming out of the dip stick this time.
  9. It worked beautifully for the way up there, I just can't believe that it could run so well and then just spontaneously fail. I rekon I could probably do most of the box swap myself now, but don't really want to.... I'm guessing the box swap if pretty much the same changing auto to manual just changing the flex plate to a flywheel. Only wouldn't know what to do for wiring but I think I might have to go for it, if I find a suitable manual box + accessories for a reasonable price.
  10. The one that came with the box. And before anyone asks, I've checked the fluid level and it's still good
  11. With regret to post... I think this new box is now cooked as well... By the end of the journey it grinds in pretty much every gear, but quietens out at higher revs. Just hope the box can last a few trips a year, don't really want to put another auto box in it. Just my luck
  12. Cheers everyone. Great day
  13. Back home after getting the gearbox swapped thanks to Ash (and Mike) Even back in time for a (late) family lunch, ready for classic sports by the lake tomorrow. Box runs sweet now, alot smoother than before.
  14. Gearbox all sweet so see you lot tomorrow
  15. The picture he posted with that quote is Wheelman's car.
  16. I think I would want one but I like the sleekness of the sliding cover.
  17. Why would they do that? And you forgot the
  18. Definitely looks like a respray. Look at the thrid brake light, it's completely painted over.
  19. Mondo has one where the ashtray is, which would be good if you had a auto but not so good with a manual...
  20. Have a good one Richie
  21. As in cars with a similar power. Say a jaguar xj220 which has circa 500 (crank) will do 217mph. And a modern Porsche 911 with 500hp will do 205. Get my point? I'm not knowledgeable enough to tell you why but I would say part aerodynamics, part weight, part gear ratios.
