  1. Beige pearl with bronze wheels and yellowy brown interior :hurl: IMO it looks pretty bland and not quite sure what style he was going for. He said as Nissan intended, but it's not...
  2. If you haven't already (and if you're doing it yourself) I would have a read through this: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?184923-Radiator-cross-member-replacement-day-one
  3. Mine arrived today also. If I don't get the autobox swapped in time (hoping to get it done the day before :pinch:) how much is it to attend without the car?
  4. I started it, but will add more pictures when I get the connector http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?185555-Convert-drivers-seat-to-electric-passenger-seat
  5. Yep it is for a parking Ariel next to the headlight. The 'parking granny' optional extra
  6. Forget about the radio and Ariel for now. Cambelt can seem scary, but if you do it carefully it's not too bad, can take a couple hours, can take a weekend. You probably just blew a fuse when you installed the heater pod or something silly. I would advise against wrapping for a 'cheap colour change ', it won't last, it scratches and heat can shrink it, best to save up and get a good respray so you'll know you dont have to worry about it again. Glad you're getting rid of the bumper/s, look horrible imo, you'll find a new bumper easily enough. You may have rushed into buying it, paying that much for an na should get you a mint one imo. But nothing can't be fixed and it's relatively cheap problems (excluding respray) Good luck!
  7. The car will need functional fog lights to pass mot so yes. Nothing you've said though seems like any big problems, does it run ok? Any rust?
  8. Lots of imports have fog light switches next to the gearstick, or alternatively an alarm.
  9. That's assuming you're using an ebc.
  10. I think just spend a full weekend, get the paint done. Then get the engine running right, scan codes, check sparkplugs etc. Imo you just need to get the car back driving, so you can enjoy it.
  11. IMO it depends what your na needing work means. If you just need new spark plugs, stay with the NA but if you need new piston rings... you'll need a new engine anyway. I think you need to ask yourself what you want from the car; do you want speed and acceleration to blow your t*ts off, or do you want a fun car for country roads and only want the tt 'because its the better car'. The NAs still do have low end torque so for just going round windy roads it will provide the power, it just doesnt have the push at the top end on the straight. To add to Master Cookie, You'll also need a TT wiring loom with ECU, so its a tad more than an engine swap.
  12. For my two cents, I would leave it without the clear coat for now, so you have a car all one colour and have a satin look. Then long term I would go back and use 2k acrylic instead. Cellulose has proven to not last the temperature so stop coating it with failing stuff. You must be crazy putting option 4 in there...
  13. I reckon all the chunks of tyre from the drifters chewed it up.
  14. Those blades look pristine!
  15. Shouldn't be, UKs have precats but those are on the downpipe. Interestingly my shortie has bigger backboxes than that one
  16. He dropped out. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?185286-Windcreen-cowl-(both-sides)&p=1927294&viewfull=1#post1927294
  17. Here you go. Did this real quick Yep
  18. We've had this debate before haven't we...
  19. Jap speed have had varying success on here as they are made in China every batch differs. They have had clearance issues with the floor pan sometimes, nothing that can't be fixed with a mallet, but it's not a direct fit nonetheless. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?184922-Japspeed-decats-are-they-just-wrong Perhaps worth a punt since they are quite cheap, you decide, maybe you get lucky :D
  20. Yes and no. Most places will make a generic decat but there is less clearance with an auto and often a mallet will be required to make it fit... Some decats will not fit autos outright. What decat are you eyeing up and for an auto or manual.
  21. Gary needs some also (GSC60)
