Out of interest have you got a pic of the old one? Maybe its a Navan ;) You can just replace the knob but someone else will be able to tell you how to do it.

Quick google, its a bit of both. So it won't kill the oil seals, but as there is less back pressure it can show up weak oil seals and oil can seep out. I think that's correct. My car is quite low mileage tbh and i run less than stock boost anyway so I am sticking to taking a chance.

Actually I thought that putting in decats made it more obvious that you already had a problem, not that it blows it directly. My turbos aren't even running boost really anyway so I wouldn't miss them that much and I'm willing to make that risk anyway. Oh I have a huge cat back don't you worry about that...

Just gotta arrange a time with Ash's mechanic to get it fitted, so I'm hoping ill be there fore Tony's. Missed it earlier as I had to get a few things together which didn't arrive in time. Decats will be going on the same time so at least I'll have something else to look forward to :biggrin:

IMO I would say £2-2.5k tops. NAs don't fetch anything like the TTs and unfortunately, and autos are slightly less desirable. With that said it is in good condition and not tatty at all. (Based on condition and other NAs ive seen sold in the last couple months) Also OP you must take into consideration that you are in Aberdeen, so not many people will travel that far north to pick up a car worth £1k.

Did the version R NAs not have the 99 spec headlights?

As always, do what you think looks better. Painting it might protect it from rust.
