  1. Wait, did you miss pictures 2 & 3? IMO that car is not worth £3,300
  2. Don't think so, I'm not expecting this box to last another 5k miles, I just want a cheap swap.
  3. Yeah I couldn't get one of them undone and there was limited accessibility so I just took the pulley off.
  4. LOL how did that pic get there! Was doing some offroading!
  5. That was it for me too, Could never get the bolt undone behind the PS pulley, had to take the pulley off in the end :pinch:
  6. You're lucky they haven't faded that much...
  7. Good effort, I know your pain.
  8. So September 2013 to ~March 2015, that's rather a while.
  9. Yeah cars in storage, I only go up there a couple times a year.
  10. Essex? This car is in Wales haha. I can cut, I only have a stick welder though so it won't suffice. It'll probably end up going to Lees to get fixed, it's very low priority though so thanks for the offer but it's fine for now.
  11. Yep passenger side sill. I've been told conflicting information about it, Lee and Keith have said its not disastrous and could be worse, but it looks quite bad to me. I need to cut into it before I make further judgement about it, but yeah inner and outer skin. If its caused by the targa drains then that isn't good news...
  12. Well Keith bought it from Lee's place and had it since March last year, but he did mention the owner just left it at Lee's for a long time.
  13. The box is sitting out of the car so its dripped as much as it can drip out, I haven't taken the oil pan off so there may be some residue still left in there. And thanks for the thought through instructions, pretty much consolidating what I already knew but I will be doing it with a Nissan mech/he will be doing it.
  14. I saw that on his facebook, do you know any more about the owner/history than I do? I hope it will be, it's just something I don't have to worry about, it might be a daily as a stock hp na would be cheaper to insure than a modified TT, but at the moment an MOT for it is the plan. Supposedly CarMad skirt Ahem... Keith passed them off to me free so I couldn't really refuse and just test fitted them, they aren't over the top or ghastly but I will have to wait until I get wheels on and off jack stands to make a final decision. I've still got an auto in my TT, that'll be swapped first, anything like that for me is low prioirty. I would agree they are bad, but i'm not going through an expenditure more than the cost of the car to make it feel better when it runs fine. Possibly, it was running for a good 20-30 minutes, the temperature did get up to temp on the clocks, but then 5 mins later the temp gauge went back to zero so unsure if it works or not. I'll be sure to give it a good run under load before I rush into things.
  15. Overall this is just a side project that I'm going to keep mostly stock and not have to worry about being perfect.
  16. And I also have to worry about this:
  17. Trip to Keith's gained me some leather seats to replace the tweed seats, but haven't gone in yet. Pipes etc back in the engine bay and she runs after a battery charge. She was in limp mode after I put the stock air box in, and I went to check for corrosion on the maf connector and look at the idiot that put the plug on upside down. The only worry I have is 30 seconds after she turns on, it starts smoking quite heavily I'm thinking it's going to be head gasket or piston rings... But I'd prefer not to hope for the worst and get a new engine.
  18. Been mostly working on the interior at this time. Before: Pretty much every interior panel unscrewed, most of it sitting in the boot. After: Driver door card was removed to fit the seatbelt but the bolts are all chewed up. I had to remove the ball-bearing inside the seatbelt that was jamming it. And yes it still locks, not sure of its purpose.
  19. I was talking to Lee Dent (where the car was sitting at for a while) and he said the car used to belong to a Paul (P)?
  20. I wasn't selling it :pinch: Just wanted your view/inspire you
  21. So I've had this car for a while, but only recently have i had time to do anything to it so i figured I would start another thread for all this car's related work. It's a 1989 JDM na Auto SWB. When I bought it I thought I would take the parts I needed off it for my TT, but the TT works and I don't really need loads of parts for it so I want to keep this car complete and put back on the road. It looks like a barn find, but trust me it's not as bad as it looks (hopefully).
  22. I have a brushed stainless cover for the dash so it looks a bit like the nsx one, but dunno if in your mind it's tacky or classy
  23. This will be the third and the cars done 46k miles
  24. Auto, just want a cheap swap to keep it on the road.
  25. On Saturday, I'm just ordering the fluid now to go in.
