  1. No, you need the whole subframe with driveshafts and hubs from the na (and the rear hicas arm)
  2. the TT is the R230 diff - with a 3.690 ratio the NA is the R200 diff - with a 4.083 ratio IE faster acceleration
  3. If you make it anything like hollings' VH then it's going to be a beast, but somebody needs to put turbos on it at some point doh!
  4. Seconded, didn't get to talk to you jimmer but everyone was really friendly and great day out overall. Unfortunately i can't make Beaulieu I don't think, but will catch up with everyone later in the year with a working gearbox this time.
  5. Hi Adam, just had the agm today, great club and community. Enjoy mate

Also, surely the front belt mount at that angle would pass tech inspection, they have to be straight back? If you have a crash that's going to rip the seat out.
  7. I think I brought my socket set... What else do you fancy
  8. Unsubbed people can't sell sorry.
  9. Hi shaun, on these cars I generally advise sticking with smic because they are miles easier to fit, and you can get quite large ones without much modifcation, but if you want to get loads of custom piping in for fmic then go for it.
  10. Just having a laugh :pinch:
  11. Well everyone would laugh at me if I was the only one...
  12. Please try not to break down everyone...
  13. You have a TT correct? I'm pretty sure someone on here will have a used one.
  14. Thanks, I'm not running massive offset and I have some camber from being low so I couldnt see the problem.
  15. I couldn't convince myself it was for cosmetic reasons... those BBS wheels are that big?
  16. Just wondering why you would have possession of an arch roller, that's all.
  17. Missing the perspex strip on the back deliberately or is a spoiler going there?
  18. It's not really something I can do on the garage floor with my skill set, and labour could easily add up to £800, 10 hours work
  19. The thing is at the moment it's looking like £200 for a replacement auto box (fitted), vs £1500+ for manual conversion. I just want the car driveable, it makes me sad thinking that the car will just be stuck in the shed immobilised for another year because I can't afford it.
  20. Even if the fluid is fixed, would you not have thought that grinding gears for about 20 miles would have damaged them.
  21. Sounds about right, Did I miss this, but when can we arrive at the hotel? I might be early so I can wait outside no problem?
  22. Very tidy car, welcome Michael and good to see your getting the leaks sorted out :)
  23. Not tried them myself but quite a few people have had to hammer them to make them fit.
  24. Quite alot of decats have silencers built in so it's not the same as straight pipes, but noise and less back pressure than cats
