So who's coming tomorrow can we confirm?
  2. Running 500hp on stock turbos seems unlikely to me. Without forging it I would recommend going for much more power, but as Stephen said there are cars on the club running 600hp without problems. And welcome to the club mate :)
  3. With that said I don't believe the majority of voters were educated enough to have a thought through vote whether they vote remain or leave. There are too many variables imo
  4. Why did he even call the vote when he didn't want the outcome.
  5. I don't want to start a war, but tell me if I get anything completely wrong. Firstly, the pound tanked hard, 11% overnight. Whether or not this will stabilise or not is yet to be seen. Secondly, though the UK voted to leave, three parts didn't: Scotland, Northern Ireland, (and Gibraltar). Scotland already held an independence referendum, and will likely want a second one because otherwise they've been dragged out of the EU against their will. They're much more likely to get it now. That's one of the four countries out of the United Kingdom. Northern Ireland also voted remain, and this has pushed the main party in the Republic of Ireland to suggest re-unification of Ireland as a whole. This would again mean Ireland leaving the UK at best, and at worst could re-start ahem, troubles. Gibraltar, tiny bit of land bordering Spain that is currently an English territory, voted to remain by a significant margin (~19,000/800 leave). This may now encourage Spain to lay claim to that land. Thirdly, as part of the EU, Britain had a say in the creation of the policies within it. This included laws, levels of internal trade, levels of standards required for goods being traded and volumes each country can contribute to prevent the others creating a monopoly. Out of it the UK no longer has any say in any of the EU politics and will have a much smaller say in the world politics, but will still have to abide by whatever the EU says if it wants to trade with them. Alot of big companies that rely on the free trade, will probably move out of UK, and the UK economy could/will be hurt pretty hard. The UK has also lost international influence. As a member of the EU it had a say in how other countries were ran. Now it's just part of the commonwealth and a close ally of the USA. It is no longer as important as it was on an international level. But it's not all bad. We finally "solved" our immigration problem. Yep. By voting leave all of the immigrants across the country have magically disappeared forever(!) Obvious sarcasm aside, this will actually do little to control immigration. For one, all non-EU migrants remain unaffected, all migrants currently here won't be deported, and this will not prevent further EU migration, it just means it's no longer automatic. It will also make it harder for Brits to travel to the EU. In my opinion, I think the majority of people saw benefit street etc. And thought that immigrants are taking all our money, but immigrants bring alot more here than they take away. And an interesting stat... 75% 18-25 y/o voted stay, its my future and I couldn't even vote :(
  6. If they're the same as the Perspex strip one, I have some you can have. EDIT: They are not the same bulbs.
  7. Me too. I'm pissed. Two years you say to leave?
  8. I was on the bus and spotted it driving off!
  9. Oh and second Z I've seen in the wild ever  !!!
  10. Spotted Croydon centre by the police station roundabout. Horrendous photos as he was driving off when I spotted. As you can't see much, it's a black Z with grey vinyl graphics/wrap on the sides, and a boomex rear spoiler with LEDs under the lower spoiler. I think there were more LEDs around the car. Any ideas from the description?
  11. Hi Chris, the interior looks nice, but I would like that engine bay cleaned up to its former glory :D
  12. Yes please, however the points made in the description are very weak imo. Outdated and unnecessary maybe, but just because it doesn't look attractive is not a convincing reason to remove it. This is my opinion...
  13. Love that anthracite powder-coated plenum, I plan to do something to the same effect.
  14. So to clarify; according to that if aftermarket HIDs are fitted, benefit of the doubt is given so that it doesn't require self levelling or headlamp washers. Correct?
  15. Thanks, I'll try and get to have a chat with Lee after Coventry since i'm up there
  16. Guys please:offtopic: Not helpful
  17. From my experience arc welding is only really suitable for thick metal/box sections as it will melt straight through sheet metal.
  18. Fair enough, I had missed that. I just personally didn't find it that useful, so just wanted to collect people's complaints and recommendations.
  19. Certainly, for example i've heard really good things about Noel, and also really bad things so I will have to think where to go carefully. Anytime soon? Yes and No, for starters my car needs a map (from what ive been told), It has a blitz Access ECU which is apparently tuned for japanese race fuel and not supposed to drive on lower octane (UK fuel), and to add my car has quite a few mods which would benefit from a map. The flip side is that I will not/cannot drive the car for another year or two and I don't have the funds for engine work and maps at the moment so it will wait until i'm serious about driving it. I honestly don't know if this thread will even get off the ground, some people may not want to comment in the scare of having an unpopular opinion and/or getting in an argument. It is a shame as I don't really know any mappers so I wouldn't know who to go to. I have only heard of Noel, Abbey Motorsports and Greg on here.
  20. I understand and that would be fair enough. I still would think it would be useful to know about mappers around, who to avoid etc. While obviously taking posts with a grain of salt as it might be biased towards the mapper's fault, or may not reflect the mapper's work as a whole. Any naming and shaming for the purpose of having a dig at a person, instead of providing useful information would not be tolerated. Oh and we are Referring to different past threads I think. I think you are thinking of bigh's thread with Noel?? This thread is in response for Jeff's "mappers and reliability" thread where people were saying Jeff's nemesis broke my engine... where we don't know who or how the engine broke so doesn't help us.
  21. Since the previous thread was a bit of a mudslinging contest I would like to open a better organised discussion as it would be in my interest aswell as in the interest of many others. This will mainly be a thread for dissatisfied customers with engine failure as a result, but general (but not vague) comments would also be worthwhile. If anyone has anything to say, please include: -Who the mapper in question is... -What power you were chasing. -What the fault was that destroyed the engine. -Anything else meaningful to add (timescales etc.)
  22. Ah the best of course :)
  23. Remind me of the colour?
  24. Holy balls. Do you have the na diff?
