  1. I seem to remember 10-14 is 'good' so doesn't seem anything wrong with the injector, but while you're at it replacing the pigtails/loom might be a safe bet to replace everything possible 'just in case'
  2. Si stop it PLEASE, you're scaring them away! So I see you've met Si, as blunt online as he is in real life, however face to face it different. IMO he sounds less crude and what he says is clearly a joke, even if he does mean it! He doesn't mean to offend, he just means to take the piss and he loves it ;)
  3. Other Paul has something like this in the works (not a caravan though)
  4. The resonator is designed to eliminate certain sound frequencies and generally does not affect the flow very much as it si a straight through design. Usually a resonator is just a cylinder around the pipe with a few holes in the pipe to absorb the certain frequencies of the sound. As there is no obstruction, no backpressure is created. I have resonators on my decats and if I’m honest, I didn’t notice a difference in sound or volume between the cats and the resonators, but it has seemed to make the boost more responsive. Resonators can be designed (in conjunction with the exhaust) to ‘tune’ the sound to your liking. Gray’s found his straight pipe too loud so added some resonators on it to quieten it slightly. Its all preference and not everyone wants straight pipes but still want the increased flow so resonators (& silencers) can be the answer.
  5. Well that was a turn of events... Phew!
  6. The only jeans I have in them were blue, now black and have holes in them. If I were a girl I would be a pretty dirty one ;)
  7. Yeah the camera on that phone is first class 20mp vs my mere 13mp Samsung camera, but the battery in my phone is 1000mah bigger sorry :p, mine is slightly larger at 5.5" 1080p screen. Best part is my phone cost £100 new so I really can't complain when it breaks.
  8. Yeah 90 degree onto the manifolds. Same as i have on my jap
  9. I'm sure it would, but from his situation: he's really not feeling like he can pour any more money into the car. And this is you really want to feel even more sorry for him :crying:.
  10. I had an otter box defender when I had an iPhone years ago, for me it was too bluky, I like to just slide my phone in my pocket. However Ash has a nexus or some other android phone (ask him) and whilst you can get those cases, it is a trade-off especially with a big phone.
  11. https://www.facebook.com/groups/215788968551866/permalink/866682483462508/ I think you are a member on facebook but if not:
  12. Yeah, the engine will be coming out somehow anyway so it would just be an unbolt and remove, take it for nothing, though it is an earlier spec and the nas have slower input speed. What's wrong with you're phone, physically smashed to pieces broken or bricked it? If its a software issue I think i can 95% fix it.
  13. As above wiring specialties non genuine but to quote Joel, includes all variants and 'superb' quality.
  14. Don't euro and UK spec cars have a precat passenger side so the turbo elbow would be different? or am i thinking of something else.
  15. You don't really want to be beaten by a car with a broken transmission do you? Sounds promising progress. If you don't have the steering rack pipe by the time I get to stripping the car, you can have the one off the na if you want (or the whole rack if it would help).
  16. I'm sure we've all been there.
  17. Lee has sent him some connectors and coil, I can tell he's bloody frustrated from paying out on the car, having a problem which you think you've exhausted the solutions to, in debt with the car. You can't blame him, but you can certainly lend him a hand and give him a slap. Paul, if you cant fix it just leave it as it is, exactly as it is. Winter's looming, you've got plenty of time to tinker with it and people will flock if they think they can help i'm sure.
  18. I suppose when we are saying classic, we really mean specialist insurance. As you say you just plug the car in and it puts it in whatever category they think suits it, can sometimes be classic, performance or modern classics etc. Basically just don't get normal insurance.
  19. I don't have any insurance but I can give you a list Lancaster (number on one of the banners at top of screen) Lynbrooks Footman James Graham Sykes Classic line Adrian flux (sorry trader but generally expensive, but comprehensive cover) Dad's insured with classic line on mine But it was close, the supposedly 'up to 25% discount' of Lancaster would probably make it better. We had a thread discussing it here if you want some opinions on experience http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?183212-Insurance-company-ratings-my-experience
  20. Footman James did good insurance for younger people in my experience.
  21. For these cars classic every time. When Ash got his first zed (20) his insurance was cheaper than his Sierra! Check classic and you could quite possibly be looking at a couple hundred quid depending on how modified/location. The comparison websites don't work as most classic don't do online quotes, get a specialised quote on classic websites/call them, it will be worth it
  22. There are plenty of companies that offer classic insurance for under 25s, quite a few people on here under 25 and have their no claims carried on. Have you tried lancaster as they are traders on the club now so supposedly should get us a better deal.
  23. That's probably a fair comment, I just read alot of stuff on z32s and I've believed that for a while, I had no reason to doubt someone comparing transmissions side by side.
  24. Looks really clean [emoji3]
