  1. could it be one of these fuses/relays? I wouldn't know how to check though
  2. It would but it won't fix already cracked and worn through to metal rubber, but would stop it cracking even more so might make it look slightly better.
  3. You really cant fix gone rubber, its best to get a good quality used or just bite the bullet and get brand new ones.
  4. If those slicks are high performance, how come they are rated E and F? F for fuel efficiency and E for grip in wet i guess?
  5. I don't think there are any Convertibles in that list sadly. Anyone know of any top condition verts to nudge in here? The only person i know who has one is Simon (zx10r ) who bought his from gaz a couple months back, looks a great car, he just hasn't been back on here since he got it :(
  6. Well said. Back on topic please.
  7. The ":innocent::thumbup1:" doesn't make your comment less direct
  8. Just out of interest why isn't there a Haynes manual for it when there is far cars of similar age?
  9. Don't always listen to Si though, many other people have said that it is good to show people what the car could be like if they owned it. I'm sure even classic car snobs would even turn up their nose to an OEM+ car because they think a classic car should be exactly as it was in the posters (with those ugly wheels) but that would clearly put lots of people off the car.
  10. I think Dan, you have to calm down a bit, no has insulted your car and quite right as you won the coty, and no one insulted you. roger mondo made a sarky comment about needing Kleenex (not directed at you specifically) which of course might have pissed you off, but I'm sure other would agree with me saying that your car is easily up to standard for NEC as long as the committee appreciates that it's the sort of car they are looking for or not.
  11. I didn't really have anything to judge the price form so forgive my heavily undervaluation. :thumbup1:
  12. Just so i know what we are talking about could i get some ROUGH estimates for prices? obviously the tailgate would be 150+ but just to make sure.
  13. Either subscribe, use tapatalk on your phone or use my guide: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?183453-Upload-images-for-Non-Subscribed-members
  14. Its fairly self explanatory when you get the plastic cover off, but i dont know how to adjust it, maybe just check the wire thing it connected properly?
  15. You unscrew the plastic screws, and then undo two 10mm bolts at the bottom and take out that plastic part. then you can see 3 10mm bolts which once you undo will make the lock loose, you have to unhook the wire key release thing and then you can take it out. but you will have to also release the cable once you have it out.
  16. FGK Fujitsubo exhaust from a quick google.
  17. £100? You can get your car towed with the bumper on for that [emoji14]
  18. It's not that non OEM vehicles are not allowed, its whether people think that an OEM car would best represent the club in a CLASSIC car show. I'm not sure on my view though as i can see perhaps the most work and the best looking cars (from my point of view) are people's like Dans and Rolondas' cars, but some people might think that modified cars do not give a good impression to the NEC audience. I think this needs a thorough discussion in the committee or a statement regrading what can or can't go as sometimes, what the car came out of the factory like might attract a certain crowd, but EQUALLY modified examples would attract a evenly sized crowd.
  19. I have 3 in my house. It is a real pain to go on holidays because most places will only accept 2 dogs, and if we have to leave them at home, no one wants to look after and walk 3 dogs! Walking and feeding them is not too bad but in the mornings they like to all have a go at each other when running outside and just start barking constantly. So probably best to stick with 2 unless you *love* dogs, which you have expressed your interest that enough is enough.
  20. I believe this whole stock or not thing is getting a bit subjective. What i think would be best would at the end be a vote, so if people think that a car is not worthy of representing the club/car, just don't vote :)
  21. So i did read this thread http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?166351-rare-factory-optional-extras/page4 and altia illuminated sills were offered as well as other things i've never heard about FYI. The more you know ;)
  22. How could they  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-Fairlady-300zx-manual-Show-promo-cop-car-/321976299263?hash=item4af7486eff:g:3YgAAOSwwPhWl920
  23. Alright, I admit that I'm wrong but I'm not going to make a fight about some kick plates. But were there actually illuminated kick plates sold by nissan from the factory? Alright cheers
  24. These ones then from a 370z
