Did you do a cruise control delete or is the solenoid somewhere else for later series models? My cruise control thing is where you have holes in that picture and i don't have that reservoir. It seems like you have more cables there as well as that's where my boost solenoid is mounted.

Yes you would get a code for MAF not working properly, and limp mode wouldn't even let the engine rev up to redline.

You're thinking of limp mode, which limits the revs to 2500 and can be caused by the MAF, but i'm no mechanic so I don't know what else it could be if not the MAF :S
