Baz Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Incredible work Paul, very jealous of your abilities lol  Quote
bigh Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Very nice Paul, would you consider making parts for small group buys? Quote
111mattin111 Posted January 19, 2016 Author Posted January 19, 2016 Possibly depending on what parts people are wanting? Quote
dublove Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Not sure what the general consensus would be, but i've always thought the following things in carbon fibre would be really awesome: OEM wing mirrors - no craziness just the same oem design in gorgeous carbon fibre. Steering wheel side pods (not the control button fronts but the larger part that fixes to the dash) Top dash panel above the speedo cluster The plastic surround around the speedo cluster The steering column covering Interior door cars!!!??? Standard front wings The interior parts would really make it stand out... Quote
bigh Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Rear tailgate would be cool - - - Updated - - - Not sure what the general consensus would be, but i've always thought the following things in carbon fibre would be really awesome: OEM wing mirrors - no craziness just the same oem design in gorgeous carbon fibre. 111mattin111 Posted January 22, 2016 Author Posted January 22, 2016 (edited) Front wings will be being made shortly Rear tailgate for the swb I could do I could do a LWB tailgate but the group buy would need more people as I'd have to make a mould for them Nose panel of could also do I've got a few parts on the go at the minute as well so will keep people up to date on them once there finished Edited January 22, 2016 by 111mattin111 Quote
Alic Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Just so i know what we are talking about could i get some ROUGH estimates for prices? obviously the tailgate would be 150+ but just to make sure. Quote
111mattin111 Posted January 22, 2016 Author Posted January 22, 2016 Tailgate would be alot more than £150 can't make them for that much Tailgate around £750 these are $986 plus around $600 shipping from America so about £1100 Nose panel £110 If anyone wants anything specific drop me a pm Quote
Alic Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I didn't really have anything to judge the price form so forgive my heavily undervaluation. :thumbup1: Quote

princeking Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Good work there buddy, is it possible to have different colours other than black? Quote
111mattin111 Posted January 23, 2016 Author Posted January 23, 2016 You could have kevlar which is the yellow and black weave Also blue, green, red and orange Quote
(adl) phoenix Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I'd like to see it first hand once you've done. But I'd definitely be interested in a swb tailgate, purely for weight saving, I'd probably paint it. Quote
bigh Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Front wings, oh and scuttle panels would sell well IMO Quote
RichardS Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) That's nice work there mate...... ......You are certainly going to get a few requests over the ensuing months! Naturally it's too early to think about being a fully fledged trader - but you might be interested in this facility - if you want to see how things go... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?166-Services-to-Members-(by-members) Richard:cool: Edited January 24, 2016 by RichardS Quote I have something to say............ 111mattin111 Posted January 24, 2016 Author Posted January 24, 2016 HI Richard like your say it's a little early as most thing's I'm doing are for may own project but if I do get any orders as a result I will definitely look at being a paid trader Quote
Pebkau Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 For what it's worth worth I think there is a real business opportunity on here with those. Quote

Possibly a little to early to say as there's always alot of interest but with carbon products not being the cheapest it's not always easy to get buyers Quote

Alic Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 For some more ideas i think the throttle cover and/or radiator shroud would really make the engine bay much nicer. Quote
