  1. Surely it's worth a look at least? Lazy advert, yes, but that doesn't necessarily mean the car's a heap. Being me I'd ask the owner a few more questions, ask for couple more pictures, then go and view the car, using the points made above to haggle on price if all seemed well :)
  2. Random little update on this. Turns out people want toy boxes! I came up with the name TimberTotz, made a little facebook page, website and ebay listing and they're selling rather well indeed :) Here's a few I've made and sold over the last few months: :punk:
  3. 1999 Peugeot 306 1.6 Auto... and I absolutely loved it. Spit n image of this one just found on Google
  4. 1990 JDM Twin Turbo Manual :) Edit: LWB
  5. Well I'll be dammed. Thank you very much!!! That's on the list of important things to do! I was surprised how good condition the speakers were in after hearing how badly they perform... makes perfect sense now. Lol
  6. I have a 1990 and found this under the door card last week when fitting my new handles... They're very small! And not standard either by the looks of things.
  7. Fair point. Can't have everything for 300 quid.
  8. Not 19 inch... but these look nice and are VERY reasonably priced imo. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=252293769674&alt=web
  9. Mark's your man! http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?166475-Custom-6-5-quot-Speaker-Door-Pods
  10. Welcome mate! Be good to see couple pics and progress as you go :)
  11. Another vote for washing machine ☺
  12. Fitted my chrome door handles :thumbup1: Before... After...
  13. Yeah worth showing him. If it was me, I'd feel embarrassed having been shown my work was sub par, then id offer to rectify at no additional cost to the customer, OR refund a big chunk if not all of the money Maybe that's why I'm not rich, though lol.
  14. Yeah I'm sure a lot of us here can relate to that. Extremely frustrating when you pay good money and don't get the service expected. I experienced similar with a local so called 300zx specialist... safe to say I'm not going back. After visiting Jimmer earlier this week I now know what a 300zx specialist really is! Anyway, hope you find some available pennies soon to get them wheels just right!
  15. Sorry to hear that, mate. My opinion would be to take them somewhere else, somewhere proven. Will result in a bigger loss financially, but you should at least end up with a set of wheels you're happy with. This guy has proven to be useless and careless, no point going back there (IMO). Swallow this one, get them sorted properly! Edit, Some home truths on their social media pages would be good, too. Hopefully save someone else from experiencing similar. Providing they don't delete negative feedback that is.
  16. Huge improvement. What do you mean on "not running fully right"?
  17. Not much. Don't have a reading but timing was off, car was running very very rich, was mapped incorrectly... it felt awful to be honest and would not boost past 6psi
  18. Thanks mate :) That was running at 1.2 bar. Think it's around 17psi but would have to check to be certain. Noel did say I MAY have larger injectors in there, but couldn't say for sure. Also my car ran better on boost with the O2 sensors connected. Apparently that's frequently not the case and noel disconnects them, then maps in open loop.
  19. Yeah will do. as for your bhp, only one way to find out for sure, dyno :thumbup1:
