  1. Yeah I see that, but the profec can be rotated 180 degrees so it COULD work on a rhd zed ;) Lol, knew it wouldn't be to everybody's taste.
  2. Hi all I'm looking to buy an ebc, more specifically a Greddy Profec EBC. I thought I wanted the Profec B spec 2 with the plan to mount it in the factory clock position... Like so: I think this looks nice and tidy and keeps it from looking out of place.as much as possible. However, I've since seen a post online of a custom install of Greddy's newer profec Oled EBC in the switch controls: Now to me at least, this looks fantastic! So the questions I have are, a) How hard do you think this would be to replicate? And b) Who can make this for me?
  3. Let's try this again....
  4. Hi all, as titled, what sort of lip is this? In this photo it looks like it suits the 89 bumper very well IMO.
  5. Oh yeah. Sorry about that... cheers again.
  6. Thanks mate. That was one of the ones I was looking at (and concerned about) so that's reassuring. Interested in your opinion... is this (or any) ebc worth it? I mean in comparison to a cheaper manual boost controller?
  7. Hi everyone. Just wondering if anybody has heard of fake Greddy boost controllers? Tempted to buy either a profec B or the newer Oled display one (both on ebay) but don't want to fork out a couple hundred quid and end up with a counterfeit.
  8. Looks like the rear view mirror is in its usual place going by the first pic. Maybe that's his secondary, gauge viewing mirror? Just seems a very strange place to put gauges IMO.
  9. Is this a car or an aircraft? I actually really like the look of this one :). Just unsure on the half dozen gauges inside the glove box!
  10. Not surprised. One of a kind :). May never see another brand new set again.
  11. Was one of the main selling points of my house for me. Only taken me 3 months to clear the clutter from the move, though lol.
  12. Spent most of the weekend clearing out junk from the garage via tip runs... and finally got the zed in the garage :) very happy to get her tucked away from the elements.
  13. Hi all I am just wondering if anyone knows of an auto technician in Swale/Medway area (mobile if possible)? I have a problem with my alarm and immobiliser preventing me from being able to drive the car at all (won't start). Thought it was worth asking the question here :) Thanks Brett
  14. Noel, noel, noel, we seek your wise words.
  15. Evening everyone. I've had a bit of a problem this evening. After finishing work, I went to start my car... and nothing. The previous owner is a land rover mechanic who fitted a land rover alarm and immobiliser. The dash all lit up when the key was turned, but when you fully turn the key, there's nothing at all. This is the immobiliser. For some reason my button fob isn't working. I assumed it was a dodgy battery so I got the Mrs to drive my spare keys and fob to work. Same thing. So the batteries in the fobs are fine, as is the battery in the car. Anyone ever experienced similar? I'm assuming it's something to do with the alarm receiver? Any advice more than welcome as my car is abandoned at work for now. Cheers
  16. Cheers all! The Mrs has me making another for her youngest :) Even a lady from work wants one for her granddaughter :thumbup1:
  17. Cheers all! Appreciate it Haha it'll last! Yeah I'm now very happy I decided to have a go myself. More personal :)
  18. After scouring the internet for a personalised wooden toy box for my son, I found the exact one I wanted, however I would get very little change from £250 after they added on all the extras (like paint... and his name... and the paint for his name...) Anyway, I decided that was all bit of a rip off for what is essentially, just a box. So, decided to make one myself. I've done no woodwork since leaving school but loved it then just never had the time or space up until now. So, just a few days at a couple hours a day after work and here is the result... What do you all think? Personally I'm pretty darn chuffed :D It's even been suggested by friends of mine that I start up a little side business lol. Cheers
  19. Pleeeeease arrange a group buy of these!! lol. Really want one, but not keen on 40 odd dollars shipping from Z1. The key looks very cool :cool2:
  20. B Cheers Terry, will give you a text tomorrow. :) And my phone is crap also, so don't be surprised if the first couple times I answer you can't hear me... These Sony phones are awful!
  21. HI Terry, don't know any other way of contacting you... Have you got a number I can contact you on? Would like something on my car looked at :) Cheers Brett
  22. Hello mate, got them from Steve (believe he's a member on here) He's done panels for others on this forum. His eBay user is littlebird1303. Was 120 quid for both and he had them fabricated and sent to me within a week. Top bloke! His mobile number is on his eBay listing (mr2 panel)
  23. New arch and sill arrived today :)
  24. But they do still turn heads... ;)
  25. I will pretty much echo what Mondo has said; I find I'm asked lots of questions about my car by people that know little about them, (main one being, "what kind of car is that...?") Don't take it personally, they were probably just all sick of talking cars :).
