  1. See Fantastic, it was actually crash corrections that was recommended to me today at work so that's reassuring. However Minster is closet still! Lol. Will run it in there for a rough price this week then :) - - - Updated - - - See Fantastic, it was actually crash corrections that was recommended to me today at work so that's reassuring. 2. Yeah I suppose Kent as a whole is not quite local, just wanted to see if on the off chance anyone would recommend somebody within 20 or so miles from me. I have however had a bodyshop recommended to me by a guy at work, and that's within 2 miles of me. So will be popping over this week for a quote. :)
  3. Thanks for the reply. I'll do the torch trick this week then...fingers crossed it's not too bad. Appreciate most bodyshops should be able to sort the arch, just wondered if anyone had any recommendations.
  4. Hi gents I have some rust bubbling up on the OS rear arch, as well as 2 small blemishes at the base of the rear window. They're not terrible just yet but they do bug me and obviously don't want it to get out of hand. Does anyone in the Kent area have recommendations for a good/fair priced panel repair shop?
  5. Arrived today :D Chuffed with it. No import fees and around 8 days delivery time from Japan.:thumbup1:
  6. Haha. It's a race! Shame they don't have more bits for the zed.
  7. Cheers bud, just ordered mine :D
  8. :( try again in a couple days. Hopefully they'll fix it ☺
  9. Error 404 message?
  10. Cheers! Just tried to buy one myself, jdm planet isn't working lol. Typical.
  11. Hello mate. Has it turned up yet? :D
  12. Been out and polished the exhaust tips this morning. Much improved :D
  13. Seriously want to buy one now. From this jdm planet. Has anyone bought something from here before? Legit?
  14. Oh the power of persuasion... OEM looks like the way to go then!
  15. To me that looks badly made/machined. From the one picture anyway. - - - Updated - - - How not cheap is not cheap? Lol. Link to one?
  16. Seriously stuck! I hate the cheap tacky gear knob that's currently in my car, but it's the only one I have. Looking to buy a new replacement and for the life of me cannot decide on one! I'm somewhat tempted by something like this http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=181790221977&alt=web However the seller needs me to provide dimensions of a standard gear knob for him to figure out the depth of the bore etc... Frustrating Has anybody got any recommendations for decent aftermarket gear knobs? .
  17. Thanks mate, they've definitely grown on me! Car could do with being lowered about 20-25mm just to make it look right, but that's for another day :cool3:
  18. Haha, that's mine alright. Over at the inlaws. :)
  19. Cheers guys Will grab some Autosol from Halfords on the way home :)
  20. This is the type of answer I was looking for and expecting. Any recommendations?
  21. ...Anyone tried and had success with this? My exhaust could use a nice polishing up and someone at work told me WD40 along with a scotch brite pad would do the trick. So any experience with this or other suggestions would be welcomed :) Cheers
  22. Lol! One of the factors that drew me to these cars is how rare they are... sounds like an escort would have been rarer!! lol
  23. That was probably me. Yep silver lwb. :D And yep live in Minster myself... But Paul's is the first I've seen over here. Least 5 eh? Bloody hell, common as muck then! Ha
  24. Brilliant, cheers. Did take my car in to Darren over at D2 services in Strood. Nice fella, very knowledgeable with these cars also. Great having some local specialists!
  25. That's good to know. Not very handy at all to be honest lol. Had the car a few weeks and never owned anything like it before. Bloody love it though!
