Hi all Wondered if there’s anywhere you can buy a new fan shroud? Mines held together with a couple zip ties (as pictured) and the used ones that I see for sale always look damaged or old and soon to be damaged (understandable). So, are new ones available still? Thanks

Hi gents Been around 2 and a half years since I sold my old zed that I daily'd for over 2 years (Silver JDM LWB TT Manual) and now looking to get into another. It'll be a weekend/dry weather only car this time, though :) So as titled - not fussy on year or transmission or wheelbase, so long as it's a twin turbo, a targa top and tidy (no rust) Budget of £6k No Cat C/D - not interested. Looking all over the usual sites Ebay/Pistonheads/Autotrader etc. with one potential goer (pending some close up bodywork/underside pics) But thought I'd put my interest in here, too. Thanks all

Yeah they’re starting to get to that stupid price point. Where shelling out that much money for a 25yr old car that’s GOING to be an endless money pit... and for the most part, the people that want these cars don’t have that much money! (Not all, but most). For comparison, you could pick up a well specd 2013 BMW 6 series with relatively low mileage for the same money. I keep thinking this 90s jap bug will fizzle out at some point and prices will stagnate or crash again... but doesn’t look to be happening anytime soon. I’m curious if anyone here would happily pay £20k for their zed?

Haha. Totally agree with the laid back bit. He tuned my old zed a couple of years ago when everyone was speaking much more highly of him. He tuned my zed to 427bhp and 444 ft/lbs. I did about 18000 miles in it in 18 months before selling. To be fair, it was very reliable. Same as you, had a manual box but an auto engine/turbos. Just normal breather mods.
