  1. They were stunning and a joy to see a definite highlight of the show for me
  2. I can beat that  Allegedly put up in Bury St Edmunds by a resident living above the shopping centre
  3. Hi Jayden I fell in love with the car in the pictures, but sadly that car doesn't exist now. This is a Brigitte Bardot car
  4. Just pulled this off my original post to reminds myself "Quick update for those who are interested. I am laughing because it was so bad. Not sure what order to put these in. No receipts offered to prove £15K spend 2 Dyno print outs shown - the last one from 2012 showing 412.5 BHP at the flywheel - Telephone number on the printout no longer in service. Both rear sills rusty under the skirts All 4 wheels really badly kerbed- some time ago as the water has got under the laquer Fourth gear snatching and crunching Several warning lights on Dials on the dash not working but aftermarket dials working Poor repair to rear bumper Several damaged areas on the body kit Massive number of stone chips on the front of the car Misfire at 6000rpm Overfuelling badly I don't think I have ever seen so much soot at the back end lol. Last keeper change in January this year - so I reckon this car has been ragged since then and now it's starting to break they want to sell it. Keeper change before was July 2014 so the previous guy didn't have it very long before yet apparently did all the mods The guy selling it proudly pointed out the large amount of rubber on the road and said that was him. Ridden hard and put away wet springs to mind Bullet dodged! if anyone else goes to look check the areas I have mentioned at the very least please My gut feeling it is 350 to 400hp and worth about £2k Right Back to eBay"
  5. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300ZX-Nismo-twin-turbo-manual-full-leather-interior-nismo-tuning-targer-v-/311488683090?hash=item48862c1c52:g:~kgAAOSwHnFVslJt There is a bit more on the description this time which just makes it funnier.
  6. Thanks guys he is getting pretty good with the pictures now (can't praise him up too much - he is my mate after all) That's him if you've got a few minutes to kill :thumbup:
  7. I was quite pleased with this as an image so just interested to know what everyone else thought
  8. I think the phoenix graphic you have is great, but you need to be careful where you put it. I know I suggested it but I think the phoenix embroidered on the seats would look fantastic. I think if you put a big graphic on the car you are heading down the "fast and furious" route which seems to be quite far removed from the Purple Rain. If it were me I would look to see if I could pay homage with little touches, such as wheel centres, or replace the bonnet badge with a badge the same size with the phoenix on it. Maybe incorporate into the dash clocks somehow. Perhaps a small graphic next to the 300zx on the rear centre panel - now there's a challenge! Or puddle lights. I think with the quality of the build that you will undoubtedly carry out less is more. But ultimately it is your Zed and you should build it how you want it :thumbup1:
  9. I really liked that Joel well done mate, you've captured the essence of Simon there
  10. I totally understand that this is not really the forum for this discussion, but I do fell compelled to write a little on here. I think Mondo may have been misunderstood in his comments. I , like every normal human being am appalled by the events in Paris. This is true terrorism, to make you feel unsafe in your daily life is horrible thing. Throughout history people of a certain disposition become drawn to these "death cults". This is not about Religion, instead it hides behind Religion. Involving religion just muddies the waters, breeds fear and distrust amongst a population ultimately destabilising it. Imagine knowing a psychopath lived on your street, but not knowing which neighbour it was, now try and live your life as you did before. I would imagine that most people, like me, have read a great deal over the last few days. I try to read as much as possible in order to have a balanced opinion. Two things I have read have really stuck in my mind over the last few days. "There are well over a Billion Muslims in the world, if the Muslim faith wanted every non Muslim dead - we would be dead!" "Throughout history the silent majority have been irrelevant" The example quoted on the second comment was that prior to and during the second world war most German citizens were decent human beings, and yet Nazi Germany very nearly succeeded in a program of Genocide. We cannot be the silent majority, we have to speak out and denounce. Show your support for fellow human beings at every opportunity. Don't be afraid to ask questions about things you don't understand. I am not saying pick fights, I am simply saying that we should stand up at every possible chance we have to say it is wrong, but more importantly we should never forget about these things. How quickly things fade from our memory like the Charlie Hebdo attacks and they shouldn't. Remember as well that all the major religions preach 1 God 1 Prophet and 3 of them started within a few hundred miles of each other. Is it not possible we all believe the same thing with translations diluted by time and distance. Religion is not the issue here, solidarity amongst normal people is and that is what we have to strive for. Heavy subject I know and I apologise if I upset anyone as that is not my intention, but I felt I had to say something.
  11. Uhoh I'm in trouble with Mondo
  12. I know Mondo is going to swear at me for this, but could the logo be stitched into the seats? And BIG BIG respect to you man looking forward to the new thread
  13. I agree "Come to this Country - Respect this Country, our culture and our people" We suffer from reverse racism now where in the eyes of the law the majority are in the wrong. My advise is in dealing with an individual problem. But it is just rude to visit another culture and assume you have more rights in their land than they do. The worst thing is it gets mixed up with religion and that's when the problems start. I understand not touching the toilet seat because your faith tells you not to. What I don't understand is looking back at your S**t on the walls and thinking that's ok. My approach is there are only 2 types of people in the world regardless of race creed or religion. Quite simply my type of people and W*****s what we have here is the second category who at the drop of a hat will hide behind their race
  14. Amazingly I might be able to offer some sensible advice here! I used to run food retail shed stores and I was a food hygiene trainer. As such I spent a lot of time dealing with environmental health officers. Your employer has a duty of care to you to provide a safe workplace and therefore they have a responsibility to investigate and resolve this. Unfortunately this is something that junior managers will often shy away from due to inexperience and being frightened of raising the race and religion cards. My advice here is to report this to Environmental Health anonymously. The company will then have no option but investigate or they risk an external agency taking over. It looks like the problem is a faith based one , as some religions go as far as to even stipulate which hand you wipe with (the left in case you are wondering- that's why we shake hands with the right) It sounds like you have people there whose faith prohibits them from touching the toilet seat as it is believed to be unclean. The solution to this is separate toilet facilities sadly. hope that helps.
  15. I think there should be a red cross parcel sent to depressed members paid for by donations I think I have identified a suitable package In all seriousness ted I hope everything works out and I seeing as I am only an hour away if you feel like you need a beer and a chat with someone impartial and not involved give me a shout.
  16. Just :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
  17. Well I went and I tracked down the guys in the Pavilion area. 3 absolutely stunning Zeds a credit to all involved A total pleasure to meet the guys. Had a good chat with the Simon and it was great to put some faces to names. Top day, huge show as always and some fascinating cars there. Thank you very much guys
  18. Damn I am so gutted for you mate I followed your thread and was in awe of the amount and quality of the work put into this car I am off to the NEC tomorrow and tracking your car down to say hello was going to be one of the highlights for me. It's astonishing that someone could be such a brazen c*** as to go to drive off after an impact like that. As bad as it is please don't lose sight of the fact that the most important thing here is that you are OK You get to go home to your family and that is the thing to hang on to it could have been so much worse. Someone was definitely looking out for you. I'm sure I echo every ones sentiments by saying we are devastated for you and if we can do anything you only need to ask.
  19. Heading for the NEC on Friday so I'll try and track you guys down to say hello
  20. There are some benefits though! Pads last longer Audible warning for pedestrians when you approach (although I guess the terrified screams of the driver and passengers might drown the squealing out) We get to play "spot the ballsup" Jeff gets a Christmas card picture
  21. If you look at the right hand suspension mount can anyone tell me if that's an OEM or a Nismo washing up sponge  and yes it was actually there when I viewed the car!
  22. Well it's popped up again this time on an auction http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300ZX-Nismo-twin-turbo-manual-550-BHP-/311479989777?hash=item4885a77611:g:~kgAAOSwHnFVslJt All I would say is please go and look at the car before you bid if you are in anyway tempted. Been there seen it and said no. Buyer beware and all that.
  23. Hang on what have I missed
  24. happy Birthday buddy
  25. you haven't seen the front end yet
