  1. Went to check on the progress of my repaint today....where the body work guy showed me that the original swage line had had a "Dark Green" pin stripe....since I have had it there has been a black pinstripe over the top. My car is Gun Metal Grey (JDM) does anyone know if the Green Pin Stripe was standard?....should I put it back?.....I've told them to do it body colour at the moment (Gun Metal Grey still!) Thoughts?

  16. With regard to the OP...I could be interested in taking part in the 2016 NEC event....and while I haven't been to the event as a spectator...it was after reading the thread on the clubs attendance at this year's show that I was compelled to try to bring my car up to the required standard...however having met Simon, Joel and Andrew at Beaulieu... and seeing just how good their cars are...I realised that achieving that level of presentation may be beyond my time and money resources! I appreciate all that has been posted regarding costs....and personally think it very generous of the club to fund accommodation....seeing that this thread has sparked great interest from members...perhaps a slightly larger stand (was it for 4 cars this year?) and and less funding regarding accommodation may allow for more cars to be exhibited? I think the most difficult thing is going to be how to choose the representatives...almost impossible I would have thought without seeing them in the flesh....so just as a thought...perhaps at a defined central club event (Coventry has been mentioned) all those wishing to be considered could attend and show their cars.... and a vote be taken by the committee and attending members on which cars should be submitted? I agree that a combination of all of the original 300ZX configurations would be a great way to display the marque...as well as certain modified examples (GIBSTER-TT?) but that would be dependent on finding at least one of each in the required condition...which as Mondo eloquently puts it...they need to be "Borderline Immaculate"! That's my 'two penneth' on the subject....and personally think it will be difficult to equal/better the cars representing the club at this years event...but then again I haven't been to many club events so far.....so I may be doing many member's cars an injustice!
  17. Hi all...While changing my thermostat I have discovered that my fan is split right through at the hub and the shroud broken in a number of places...so I am looking for good condition replacements if anyone can help? Thanks Gary
  18. Doh! Obviously!!.....I hadn't noticed that...
