  2. The air con clutch is stuck out is there a fault with this or do they stick out when its low on gas, Dont want to waste money on a regas if the clutch is faulty thanks taff.:thumbup1:

Im currently refubishing some wheels they have quite a big polished dish .Ive got all the old laquer off with loads of green scouring pads and 600 grit then 1200 grit wet and dry .There ready for polishing now whats the best polish to use been using autosol but it still looks a bit hazey .Seen clips on you tube of polishing wheels on the car jacked up and in gear anyone tried this thanks taff.

Just fitted 2 new push fit conectors over my old type, tyre valve r12 gas connectors .A bit of gas came out doing this ,air con hasent worked for 2 years so i take it needs a regas .after searching its seems some filling up with the new r134a gas no problems without changing seals etc .Some say it needs other mods to run the new gas diffrent oil, higher running pressure etc.also my air con clutch thing is permantly out what does this mean ,does it do this when its gas low on gas .Is refill point top or bottom connector thanks taff.:thumbup:

  9. I thought 6 was the standard heat range dont i need 7 for 1 bar .
  10. What ngk plugs do i need for tt running 1 bar boost which is avalible in uk searched the forum its seems a mine feild 11b 11c etc 7 heat range 6 heat range thanks taff.

Its not as bad to fit yourself done mine recently just get car nice and high i left my wheels on and got some spare wheels and jacked it up 2 wheels high all round ,box came of easy and in first time with no struggles .if nothing snaps 4 hours in and out.Problem is with garage if flywheel is scored or has blue heat marks as mine did they may charage for ramp time when flywheel is sent to machine shop for skim.

  13. Think the standard ones are steel the weight comes from the heavy rubber mass inside the pulley [harmonic damperner ].
  14. It was the same diameter and same make koyo bearing which came off im sure its fitted to the fork correctly.
  15. Just put a new clutch in now trust bearing makes a small whistle sound as you release the pedal .It was a brand new koyo bearing fitted .Any ideas thanks taff.:confused1:
  16. yer keep pedal and booster loose just slightly nutted up then put it in .
  17. Cleaning or replacing air regulator can fix this or try cleaning tps plug connector .
  18. Got box back in sunday went in first time with just a little tilt back on engine block of wood on front pulley and jacked engine up .Undoing all 4 intercooler pipe clips is a must ,4 hours to get box back in prop on a complete exhaust system and refill box with oil.managed to get to all bell housing bolts with 14 mm spanner.manged to drill dump pipe bolts i snapped 10 mins each with a high torque 18 volt cordless drill on low speed with decent drill bits.:clap:
  19. With a syringne type hand pump and about 1.5 metre tube attached ,suck up oil and pump into box untill it over flows from fill plug on the side of box.Use half inch breaker bar or rachcet to undo filler plug should be 3.4 litres i think.
  20. I think the problem is some are not bolted to the inside of the door and rattle around and causeing loose solder joints, the s13 one is rapped in rubber .
  21. Window amp black box from 200sx s13 works on z 32 just fitted one.
  22. If there a 9j you can get 265 -275 8j 235-245 if you cant find the width you will have to messure the inside of the wheel next time you take a tyre off from the inside well to the other not across the top of the wheel.
  23. Do i need to unbolt the prop thurther back to get it to fit in the back of the gearbox .I only undone the centre 2 17mm bolts to get it out but it was a struggle to pull out of box its a swb thanks.
  24. Ok thanks where does that small plate go[ half circle] one that fell down when i took the box off ive got the big plate on behind the flywheel but not sure about the small plate.
