If I were you I'd double check they know its an Import, Tesco want cat 2 for UK, Trackers for Imports, ask shrimpo hes with them now and has a tracker. If It gets nicked they WILL try not to pay you any way they can. Direct Line are the same as they are the underwriters for Tesco.

Your right there, they "quoted me happy" with a quote for £1900!!FFS I e-mailed them to say how shite it was considering i was getting quotes round the £900 mark and they said sorry there was a mistake and they actually wont insure me at all!!! Ah well, their loss.......tossers!

My first Zed (the Blue one) had a PIAA Kit on t, (lots of boxes and stuff under the bonnet with PIAA on them, and I couldnt understand why everyone aid zed lights were crap, untill i got the second one!!! The old ones were twice as good as the ones i have now. Wish I'd of known what I knew now, i'd of took all that stuff off the old one before returning it to the dodgy dealer who sold it me!!!

I dont think the guy should be knocked for putting this amount of effort into a zed, its obvious to me that hemust of liked the looks of the back of a supra (even though it looks like a train!!;) ), the "newness" of a 406 coupe, but above all he must of loved the drive of a zed to go to such great lengths. I wasnt a major fan when i first saw it at Billing 2002 but you have to respect the work that has gone into it.

OK, First off when you have it on the de-mist setting air will bast out on the screen only, if you set it to say 30 with a cold engine it will blast cold air at it until the engine has enough heat to blast warm air at it. On Seris 1 models you CANNOT direct heat around the cabin on demand, you have to press the "auto" button and the sensors in the car should do the work for you. If the footwell is cold it will direct most of the heat there until the desired heat is achieved, after this it will direct some out of the vents above the radio, and so on. On a seris 2 you can direct the heat around the cabin as desired. On the topic of thermostats, I changed mine in summer, my car now warms up much quicker, as i believe the old stat was not only slow to open and close, i think it probably stayed open a little too when cold, therefor letting some water flow around the heating system and thus slowing the warming up time. Since I did my water pump change im dead chuffed with mine, it heats up quick, blowers do as they should, it loses no water and doesnt overheat. Think ive probably just cursed myself saying that!!! :rolleyes:

I reckon ive got the oldest turbo timer in the world (see pic) if it was any older you'd hear it tick!!! Good thing about it though is i'd wager its been there since new, so my tubs should of been well looked after!!!:D

Got to agree with that, first time i drove an auto, I went to stop and slammed my foot down on the clutch like you do, only no clutch there, just a fooking great brake, ended up kissing the windsceen as im too stupid to wear my belt!!!:D :rolleyes:

Little barstards want their sodding wot-nots chopping off!!! Cant believe what the latest trend is with these break ins on lots of 1992 on "normal" cars they have deadlocks so the barsards are bending the doors open from the top. Only one word for these people.....SCUM.
