I think youll be lucky to colour code a set of oe mudflaps without it flaking off and looking crap becouse they are very soft and flex alot. I think new oe mudflaps are very expensive too, 2nd hand ones are like hens teeth!! The oe ones look good in black anyway, personally id leave them be!

You have to be quite careful with some of the new nissans, im not sure on the 2.0D ones but steer clear of the 2.2D used in the x trail, almera and primera, very prone to cam chain stretch and the vnt mechanism packs up on the turbo causing overboost and turbo death. As for the avensis, the D4D models use a dual mass flywheel to minimise vibration in the new higher power diesel cars, and these are quite common faliures too.
